Reyn Spooner Ala Moana Center — Local services in Honolulu

My husband and I bought several Reyn Spooner shirts in California, but never at a Reyn Spooner store. We were on our way to HNL airport and decided to make a quick stop at the Ala Moana Reyn Spooner. We had less than an hour to shop. We were greeted by Greg ( Gunderwood), a fantastic sale associate at Reyn Spooner. He explained the sizes, styles, and history of the company to us while we shopped for shirts. I didn’t know the shirts came in two fittings, classic and tailored. My husband is 6’ 4’ and 200 pounds, so a classic fit is more his style. We found several shirts, shorts, and swim trunks that were the perfect fit. Greg let us know the names of the fabrics, and the history of them. I found his knowledge of the prints, sizes, and company very impressive. I was also impressed with his ability to tell us about everything, yet let us shop on our own and not pressure us to buy anything. Overall, a great experience and I can’t wait to go back. I hope Greg will be there the next time we are...

Received my 3rd alpha shirt…..sadly a bit disappointed when i tried on the alloha shirt and it was missing a button….i guess inspection missed it before packaging it to be sent…will upgrade the low rating when I receive my exchange…so far …communication with staff via email is very good….

Okay!!! Never thought I would have to share this… Upgraded to a one star- if I could , I would leave a zero star based on my recent email!!! To not say too much, I emailed reyn spooner before I dropped my return off today- I asked to change my shipping address - because in 4 days I will not be at this current address…. Long story short Darren said- “don’t worry “… drop it off first- then after they scan the QR code- send me a email( which I followed his / her instructions)… Well… I just got a email saying” sorry dude, it’s too late to change the shipping address because the shipping dept already sent your package out!!…. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! so, I say no more...

Best sales associates I've ever encountered on this island, maybe ever. They treat you like family here. Ryan was kind and very helpful. Everyone in there helped me pick out the perfect shirt for my wedding ceremony and even gave me some options for my groomsmen. They were genuinely interested in hearing about what I had planned.

My experience here was a far cry from the service I was treated to at Tori Richard's where I was snubbed and wasn't even greeted by the workers there. They probably assumed I couldn't afford to purchase anything so didn't bother interacting with me. Oh well, I'll never purchase another brand besides...
