Edited 3/15/24 So unfortunately what I thought was great customer service turned out to be $60 to not fix/ make worse our scooter. We came in with a flat, and left with a halfway inflated tire that had a jammed valve (basically we couldn’t pump air into it) - so we brought it back to get it actually fixed (although to be honest I felt embarrassed to because they spent so long on it the first time). And the 2nd visit was worse than the first….
They told us that they put a brand new inner tube in…but it came back coated in slime. It was inflated but somehow on the first ride it popped again??? So now I’m not sure if they were being honest about replacing the inner tube…it seems like they just did a quick fix with green slime…and it did not last.
I could have gone to another shop and gotten a professional repair for the same price - I only went with them because they were nice…but I had no idea they don’t know how to do a proper repair. The guy working on the Segway seemed self taught, and all of his fixes didn’t seem to be up to code. I could have done a more thoughtful repair myself if I had wanted to take the time.
This whole experience was such a bummer cause we’re out $60 and the Segway is in worse condition (messier/still broken / and even some side caps are missing that were there when we brought it in).
Old review below
Just had to share our great experience. The owners really took care of us when I came in to get my scooter flat repaired. They didn’t have the right inner tube in stock - but they offered to call around - they found a shop that had the part and then they offered to get it all fixed up that same day. They were so gracious to really help us solve the problem instead of turning us away when difficulties with our scooter occurred. They exemplified excellent customer service, and the father and son owners were so personable and nice. As well as the guy that worked on the bike - they were all very nice. It’s so nice to get this level of care when so many others...

On both arrivals, this "receptionist" alarmed, embarrassed, and surprised me and my passengers by SCREAMING in wild outrage, through my open cab window, accusing me of cheating her guests(!); — metered at $20.15, the fare was correct. The wild receptionist was not “impartial” –because by her contract with her guests, she was obligated to reimburse them for the fare. In good-faith, I transported my passengers making good time through moderate traffic about 3:15 PM by the shortest route between Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel and 670 Auahi Street. My cab fare-meters are strictly and properly regulated, registered, and inspected at all times. The complaining receptionist, in my two encounters with her, seemed determined to gratuitously verbally-abuse and embarrass me, my passengers=her clients, and of course, herself and any associated business owners and managers who value good business practice and civility. THUS I'm compelled to respectfully FOREWARN future visitors to Segway of Hawaii - Kaka’ako Tours at...

Was able to locate the business although parking lot you have to pay attention to the marking on the pavement as since downtown they do patrol and enforce the lot Were greeted and walked through the waiver process then proceeded to get helmets for our tour. jeanean and Michael were very personable and friendly throughout the process. You then oean how to ride your Segway which for my wife and I was a quick refresher since this was out 4th Segway tour. You then are led though parts of Honolulu, Waikiki and then up to diamond head look out. Throughout the tour Michael was a wealth of information including things to see and do if you come into the areas laster in your trip. He always ensured we were ok and hydrated since you are in a tropical climate and standing on the Segway for quite some time. Overall this was an great tour and would recommend it as a great way to see some sites. We also ended up eating lunch across the street with a recommendation from Michael and allowed to use their parking...
