I've been in this store many times. I really tried to like this store for its selection of shoes. But the staff is just terrible, I'm not just saying this to be heard or to make this place look bad. But if you walk into any store, you greet customers, let them browse for a bit, ask them if they need help. Don't just crowd around the register area, talking story and not do your job. You don't get paid to talk story, or make friends. You get paid to help people with what they are looking for. Especially if you work in this type of work environment. At least learn about what your selling, don't try to sell me stuff you have no idea about, just because it just arrived in the store. I cant understand there are so many people working at one time, yet no one wants to offer help. I shouldn't have to ask you for help, REMEMBER, "Customers provide you with a paycheck" if we don't buy products, the company won't make money, which means you don't get paid. I have no Idea what is wrong with the staff here, or who the hell is hiring these people, but if your going to hire staff with no experience in this field, don't put an experience section on your application. If your gonna hire random people, who lack customer service skills and have no idea what your store is selling. Why even hire them in the first place? Secondly, I really have no idea how this place makes money, with shoes that have been sitting on the shelves for 6 months and has no markdowns? There really is no point in shopping here, with Champs Sports and footlocker in the mall as well, with better pricing and staff members, At least the people in both stores are always friendly and willing to "Help"... Get your act together Shoe Palace, you website says your pride yourself with customer service, Ive seen better sayings from the "As Seen On...
Read more08-20-2022. 7pm. Dude in the front was very rude. Kept trying to force me and my sisters to buy shoes that we weren’t even looking for. Instead of helping us he kept insisting us to some random pairs “just so it’s off the shelf” . So I told him the exact pair I was looking for then tried to convince me to buy a random pair that I didn’t even look at. He said “just buy em” after I told him “nah I looking for (certain pair) but I see you guys don’t have it which is okay too” he came back and said “ah just buy em” like what??? Same thing he did with my sisters. My sister was looking for a certain shoe, size, and model. When she asked for a certain size he said “NO! does it look like we have that size?” And laughed at them like it was a joke then they immediately walked out. I however had a better experience at pearl ridge location. Must be...
Read moreI walked in at 10:05AM 2 girls working. 1 standing staring at a wall and one talking to her friend by the entrance. No one greeted me. I walked around. Found 2 shoes that I liked (women’s 12 for me which is a men’s 10.5) and walked over to the lady staring at the wall, and asked if they had them in a 12. She never looked at me and said “those are women’s”. I replied “I know I’m a 12 in women’s” She cut me off and said “well we don’t have them. I know we don’t.” I asked “in any women’s shoes?” She said “ya. Unless it’s a super popular shoe.”
Not sure who’s managing these employees but they are Absolutly horrible. I won’t be coming here again. I’ll shop online and hope they close...
