Well where do I start, when I first wondered into the store I immediately saw that their furniture was very nice and of good quality. Jeremy instantly welcomed me to the store and was very polite. I found some furniture that I really liked. I went home to think about it and read the reviews online, I saw how a lot of people where having trouble with their customer service issues after they bought their furniture, well I was not the exception. I didn't received a piece of furniture because they called me to tell me it had arrived damaged but that "they" would place the replacement order immediately and that they would call me back. One week passed by and no one called me, then two weeks passed by. So I'm like let me call the store to see what's going on. First I asked for Jeremy and told him the situation and he told me he would call me back, the whole day went by and he never returned my call. Second day I talked to the manager and she said the person who is in charged of that would call me back the next day and the next day came and went by and no one called me. I called again and Jeremy and the manager were "not" there and the new person that took the call said she would call me back and never did as well. I went through my phone and located the number thatfro the delivery people had called me from and I talked to her and she was very helpful by the way but she told me no one from Arhaus had placed my replacement order, she told me she would email them and gave me their corporate office number. I talked to corporate and they were helpful and she even emailed me the confirmation email of where the replacement order had been made. I know the people at the actual store are not in control of the items being damaged but they are in control of customer service and making sure any issues get resolved as quickly as possible. I really like the quality of their furniture and their designs but their customer service is horrible. The order was placed today and now I have to wait about two more weeks or more before I get my replacement instead of them doing their job and order the replacement that same day. I forgot to mention that I called them that same day when I only received the sofa to notify them that the chair was not delivered because I was told it had arrived damaged. Also before I made the purchase I talked to Jeremy and told him my concerns about the reviews and well obviously he might not care about his reputation, even when I went back he wasn't there and I told the other person who helped me that he had helped me the day before. I wanted him to get the sale or at least half of the sale but he really disappointed me in the end, it has been 5 days and still no phone...
Read moreUpdate 5/31/2024 - It's been over 2 years since we purchased the ENZO round table with the Bluestone top and the Gage Carbon (dark gray) dining chairs. We had a problem with 2 of the 5 Gage Carbon chairs that we purchased, and the extended warranty only covered 1 of the 2 chairs. Abraham, the Store Manager, immediately took care of the issue with the chair that the extended warranty did not cover and within a few weeks, we received 2 new chairs. Abraham sets the example of how customers should be treated after the sale as he went above and beyond to ensure that we had a positive customer experience and he exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be repeat customers as Arhaus stands behind their merchandise!
Original Post: If you want a fantastic shopping experience coupled with exceptional customer service, then see Melanie at Arhaus in Houston! (Melanie is now at the Woodlands location.) We were looking for a Kitchen table with a sleek base and a dark marble top with comfortable and durable chairs. We visited over 10 furniture stores before we found Arhaus. Melanie greeted us upon our arrival and she "listened" to what we were looking for while she took us on a tour of the store pointing out several tables that met our criteria. We were ecstatic that we found a selection of furniture with great choices all in one store! Once we selected the ENZO round table with the Bluestone top (which actually is gray!) and the Gage Carbon (dark gray) dining chairs, Melanie worked up a quote for us. We went home and started measuring the dimensions of the furniture, but we could not decide if the 54" table would fit properly. We really wanted to have a Kitchen table that could comfortably hold 5-6 people, but we needed further guidance and took several pictures along with the measurements. We texted Melanie the next day and she responded immediately and called us back within the hour! After further discussion on the phone and a few more pictures, we were able to conclude that the 54" round table would fit properly! There was no pressure to make the purchase on the spot, but after all of Melanie's hard work and efforts coupled with the fact that we really liked the table and chairs, we were ready to close the deal and give her our credit card for the deposit. This is the first time in a very long time that a salesperson had taken an interest and truly listened to the customer's requirements without any pressure! We definitely recommend visiting Melanie at Arhaus in Houston for the best possible customer service coupled with an amazing selection of cool and...
Read moreI went to Arhaus looking for the perfect couch. Literally. I knew what fabric I was trying to match. I was picky about the softness/firmness of the seat cushions, and I wanted that firmness to be different from the firmness in the back cushions. I wanted very specific measurements to both fit a room in my home and fit the people in the home (we are all tall). It couldn’t be 2 inches longer or it wouldn’t work, and too small, we wouldn’t fit sitting on the couch. When I walked in to the showroom, Louie Navarrete, one of the Arhaus designers on the floor, approached me. He asked what I was looking for, and when I told him, he was undeterred by my very specific search. I walked the entire floor and sat on every couch. I found two couches that I liked, but I was torn. I liked aspects of each of them, but neither was the exact dimension that I was looking for. Louie then went to his computer and got to work. He is a magician. He came back and put together various sectional pieces available to him (but not on the floor) and created the exact sectional that I wanted, down to the inch. Then, he worked with the manufacturer and custom group to see if he could combine each of the details that I liked from the various couches into one perfect couch. AND. HE. DID. I was bracing myself for what that cost would look like, but in fact, it was less than some of the couches on the floor! He even located the exact match to the fabric sample that I’d brought in. He truly designed the couch that I’d envisioned for my home. He patiently walked me through the process. As the couch was being made, he kept me updated on its progress. He was responsive and quick to reply if I had any questions or ever reached out. He stayed in contact with me from the start through the couch delivery. I’ve never seen customer service like what I experienced with Louie and Arhaus. I’ll be the first person to admit to being particular about the furniture I put in my home. Louie never made me feel rushed or like I was too picky. He wanted it to be as perfect as I did, and he went above and beyond to make that happen. I will absolutely buy future furnishings for my home from Arhaus, and I’ll work with Louie to make it happen. If you’re at all like me, run, don’t walk, to Arhaus and ask for Louie! (And no, I’m not paid to say this, and I didn’t get a discount on the couch if I posted. I am truly blown away by the product and customer service, and good products and customer service are hard to find, so I...
