Insanely and ludicrisly overpriced! I went in there for an Amazon return the other day and I had one of those coupons and walked around the store. Spotted a cute Carter's brand boys swimming set with dinos on it that I thought I'd grab my son. Looked at the price tag and it was $44!!!!!!!
That's INSANE for a 6T sized swim shirt and shorts.
The only thing in the place that has never seemed over priced is actually one of their smallest areas, the toy department. I've found some cool toys there and the price isn't usually too bad for the Melissa and Doug stuff.
That aside I'm giving it 3 stars because the staff at the service desk is always really nice when ever I go in there to drop off an Amazon return. Which is often.... because amazon OFTEN messes up my orders. So it's nice to go in and know that it will always be quick and no hassle because the ladies over there have always been fast and nice.
They even have a little stand next to the service desk with items that are $5 or less so that if you want to use your $5 Kohl's cash coupon you get for returning something right away, you can. Just grab you a...
Read moreCame in today with my wife to buy some jeans. Specifically went to Kohls because many of the dressing rooms in Wichita are closed down, but Kohls had been open. Found a few pairs of jeans and went to try them on, only to find that their dressing rooms had also been closed. When I inquired as to why, they responded that it was "corporate" that did it. They had them open during the holidays but had closed them down because it was too expensive to keep them open.
We put back the four pairs of jeans that we were going to try on and drove 1.0 miles down the road to Walmart where they have the common sense to find ways to do business. Not only did we buy a total of three pairs of jeans which were the exact same brand and style that I tried to buy at Kohls, but we also saved about $10 per pair. Additionally, these style of jeans required a slightly different size, so I would have wound up bringing Kohl's jeans home into my COVID-infested house just to have to bring them back into the store a second time.
Kohls, I don't think you're saving money by closing your...
Read moreI am definitely never going to shop in person again. There are signs on the toddler boy shirts that say regular price $9.99 are on sale for $7.99. I get to the register and the cashier didn't greet us, kept doing her thing and said "Did you need something?" Uh.. yes, to checkout? I notified her that the shirt rang up wrong for $10.99 and even then she said that's the price. I showed her the sign, I took a photo of it. She then went on ranting about how it's not her problem, she has nothing to do with prices. I don't care. It's your job in customer service to uphold the advertising and take care of the customers. I then asked if my 20% coupon came off and she asked me 3 different times if I wanted to sign up for a credit card... No, thank you, for the 3rd time! She was incredibly rude and during all of this, a manager was at the other register raising her voice and getting rude and frustrated with a poor lady who didn't understand much English. I will never come back in the store if that's the way you let your employees speak to...
