Rush's Kitchen Supply — Local services in Idaho Falls

Anybody who gave this place a positive review or claimed the staff was "knowledgeable" must not get out of town much. This place is the 2nd worst kitchen supply business I have ever seen ANYWHERE in the 8 states I work in. NOBODY at this places seems to know the first thing about the products they are selling. Even my simple questions seemed to baffle them. How can you sell kitchen wares and NOT understand the basics of stainless steel and cladding? It's places like this that give small towns those bad reputations that small towns have. But I must disagree with the reviewer who complained about overly high prices. We stopped in last Saturday for a couple items. We were not acknowledged or greeted in any way. After looking on our own for our item and couldn't find it we had to search for assistance. We kept looking around and couldn't find our other item and wasn't going to go find help again so we gave up on it. We went to the register area and no one was there. We had to search for someone to ring us out as they were back eating in the kitchen prep area? No customer service here for a specialty store. I came in to build a new knife set and received a friendly greeting and excellent service. The worker helped me weigh pros and cons on several great options. I'd brought in an old set that I generally liked the feel of, but that had outlived it's usable life, and he suggested equivalents and upgrades as I described what I liked and disliked about the old set. Price was competitive and I was happy to shop local and be able to heft the different options. I'll happily return to have the set sharpened...
