I came to Creekside Market in Jackson, WY for a quick lunch and left with what can only be described as a spiritual awakening.
The sandwiches here are incredible. Fresh, hearty, and made with the kind of care usually reserved for national treasures or bald eagles. But nothing—nothing—could have prepared me for what happened next.
I was standing in line, minding my own business, when I looked up and saw him. Or at least a man who could’ve been his long-lost twin: mustache perfection, twinkle in the eye, swagger that said “I’ve outrun at least one sheriff on a dirt road.” I was behind a full-on Burt Reynolds doppelgänger… ordering a chicken salad sandwich.
I nearly passed out.
The combination of that sandwich and the electric presence of Faux-Burt made this the most thrilling lunch of my life. I took my meal across the street to the picnic pavilion, where I sat in awe, unwrapping my sandwich like it was a sacred scroll.
If you like amazing food, gorgeous views, and once-in-a-lifetime moments that make you question time and space, Creekside Market is a must. And if you see Burt…tell him I...
Read moreAwesome market! Our family of seven stopped here to pick up lunch before heading into Grand Teton NP. We each ordered a freshly made sandwich and they were pretty fast. They have a good system in place. You fill out a form, which has a lot of options, and then they work very well behind the counter to assemble your order. For the size of the sandwiches we got, I'd say they were reasonably priced. They were super fresh too and had a lot of toppings. One thing I wish they offered is a box lunch. I don't know if other places in Jackson offers them but several spots in Yellowstone did. It's not like you can't make your own box lunch, since they have plenty of drinks and chip options at the market. But it would be a cool thing to offer if they wanted to. I also got some cool stickers for my water bottle. Overall, this place is fantastic. They have great food and the people working there were very friendly. I live in Florida so I'm not sure when I'll come back but if I do, I definitely want to...
Read moreIts location at the very edge of Jackson make it a great place to grab food on the way to the Parks or as your entering the town. Every appearance inside reminded me of a large gas station’s convenience store and contained similar products. DELI HAS GREAT SANDWICHES = there’s food to grab-and-go but I instead went for the Rueben Sandwich. Great price. The flavors and textures of the Meat, Bread, and fillings complemented each other great (except whoever made it put all the Meat on one side and all the Sauerkraut on the other) GREAT SERVICE = Somehow the two guys at the registers were taking sandwich orders, chatting up the crowd and their employees making the food, WHILE working the registers. And they did it all...
