Had no idea who Mangelsen was nor that this gallery existed. But as me and the family walked past on our way to find some dinner a print caught my eye. I went in there and found out that my wife also saw this print and of course I inquired about it. The gallery manager was very helpful and informative about Mangelsen and his work. We discussed the price of the piece and I walked away saying I couldn't spend that kind of money on a piece of art.
So of course the next day I walked in and bought it! I couldn't stop thinking about the piece and think that I may start collecting more of his work. Darn this man and his images that haunt me.Lol.
I will say that I walked in again today and met two more outstanding people that work here. We discussed Mr. Mangelsen and his work once again as well as life in general. Definitely coming back here on my next...
Read moreMy husband and i were visiting Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the first time. We both have been following Tom Mangelsen’s work for years. I was more moved by his work than I could have ever imagined. There are 3 floors and we visited at 10 am on a Friday. We separated and both spent 90 min reading and studying each piece. I found myself in tears because of the beauty in all these pictures of wildlife. There are some places to sit on the top and lower level. You almost need to take a moment to process. My favorite part was the description of each photo and Tom’s story around shooting the animals. Absolutely my favorite artist and most amazing gallery. It exceeded my expectations and again…this work created soul opening responses. My husband bought a signed 399 book and we both left connected and inspired. What a gift...

After finding several of the galleries closed, we entered this one and were enchanted by the stunning photography. We spent a long while exploring the three levels, and the gentleman there (not Tom but a new team member) was gracious in answering my questions. After some discussion and visiting other galleries we returned and settled on one image that had captured both of us. The lady there patiently answered all of our questions about framing, formats (paper vs. canvas), delivery and artwork in general (e.g., limited editions), and we settled on a size and presentation that suited us. We're looking forward to receiving our photograph, and we may well continue to follow the artist to keep up...
