Dr Laura Cooper is a wonderful, caring, well trained and talented plastic surgeon. In August of 2019 I found a lump in my right breast. When the biopsy result came back positive for cancer I called her to ask her to be my plastic surgeon.I met with her and we discussed my options. She discussed possible complications, how those would be addressed and that it would entail more than one surgery. I decided I wanted a bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. From then until everything was healed she was never more than a phone call away. I met with the general surgeon that would do the breast removal and we scheduled a date for surgery that worked for the general surgeon and Dr Cooper. She explained the role that each of them would take to accomplish my goals. She always answered my questions in a straightforward manner. She acknowledged the emotional implications of this procedure and was so supportive of me during this entire process . She showed such compassion any time anything needed to be done and available if I needed to call with any concerns. I would highly recommend Dr Laura Cooper to anyone facing this diagnosis.
