I sent my 6 year old to the day care center. The center is spacious and clean. There are good number of staff carers there whom all of them were hispanic. Most of the carers were very young; college students or recent graduates.
Due to COVID 19, the center had to close in Mid March. But we already had paid for 6 months tuition ($6,000+) in lump sum. The center head, Wanda, had refunded the amount for the months it was closed, which I was very appreciative.
Somethings could improve here. They need more professional carers who are fully educated in child caring.
They badly need quality programs for Kindergardeners and above. This place is mainly for 4 or younger. To compete with other places, the center needs great English (reading, writing, comprehension), Math, Science and Social study programs.
Inter communication needs to be improved greatly. For example, if a child is late-pick that information should be communicated to the admin, staffs, receptionist via computer (lookup) or paper roll call. Often times I got a call to pick up my child and I had to tell them mine was a late-pickup.
Do not rush. The parents paid extra for late pickup @ 7pm. When I get there 6:55pm I often felt rushed by the carers. I would get out before 7pm and I was entitled.
I left 4 stars mainly because I appreciated that they refunded the tuition without me having to argue...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI could not recommend Adventures in Learning JC more. Our son is 2 and has been going there since he was 6 months old. He absolutely loves it and is always excited to go in the morning. All the teachers and staff genuinely care about the kids and they always greet us with a big smile. Justine and team are always happy to answer any questions us parents may have.
Our son has learned so much. He knows so many songs, which he always sings at home on the weekends :) Heās learned to count and is learning the alphabet, both in English and in Spanish! And most importantly he has learned to be kind, sharing and caring.
His class does arts and crafts daily. They also do yoga and weekly music classes, how fun! A huge plus is that the kids go for a walk twice a day and get to explore the outdoors and enjoy fresh air.
We would definitely recommend Adventures in Learning JC to anyone. Our baby daughter will attend early next year and we canāt wait for her to meet Ms...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOkay. A bit of transparency here for any future enrollees or any parents who are here currently. Understand that this location has had different administrators, and directors for the past year/ 2 years. The lack of respect for parents, the amount of money spent and the policies created by this school is beyond ridiculous. Please listen to me as I say there are better schools in the area. Beyond reasonable doubt you should not enroll your kids here as it lacks the appropriate staff and a lot of the head administrators for the schools are all family so none of them will leave if they had to because they all are comfortable here with each other. Donāt enroll your kids here, you will regret it. The tour might seem great but thereās not enough staff here and behind closed doors they donāt really seem to care about the kids. With warmest regards this message is to help you. Your welcome. And the owner please feel free to make it seem like Iām lying. But in your...
