Carnival Cleaners — Local services in Jersey City

i happen to go in this cleaners today after not visiting them in a long time. i was charged 17.50 to have a winter coat cleaned.. this coat did not have any fur, leather or any kind of intrinsic designs that would need a specialized cleaning.. it wasnt even a heavy winter coat. it was not badly soiled or even mildly dirty.. i could have very well cleaned it with a little frebreeeze and let it hang dry in my bathroom for a half hour.. for this cleaners to charge such a astronomical price is highway robbery.. it does not matter that this cleaners is in the hamilton park area of jersey city where a apartment can rent for three and four thousand dollars a month. for a cleaners to charge this kind of price is a disgrace, i don't care what nobody says... there is a laudromat/cleaners a few blocks down.. i suggest that is visited instead.. im certain you will find a better, more affordable price than carnival cleaners... i would not recommend nobody go here . i'm sure the management doesn't pay their staff twenty dollars a hour.... had i looked at my ticket right after it was printed, i would have snatched my coat up and went elsewhere.. it was only after a half hour that i looked at ticket in my pocketbook and realized what had occured.. never...

The worst dry cleaners I have ever been to. Took a custom made blazer in for cleaning prior to an international trip. When I picked it up the crest missing. The older male owner said "it wasn't on it when you dropped it off". I showed him a picture of the blazer and told him I left it with his wife. He said I must be lying and I had to pay and leave! WHAT?!?!?!? He is the worst! No apology, no accountability, no nothing, just a rude man. Turns out my neighbor had to threaten a lawsuit with the same cleaners for losing his ENTIRE SUIT! They claim they do the dry cleaning on site when they don't. Zero customer service skills, zero accountability. With so much competition around you would think they would at least try, sadly they...

I've been going to Carnival for 2 years whenever needed, usually in a time crunch. This last experience was the icing on the cake for me. I called another cleaners around the corner to see if they could fix a button on a suede jacket, the answer was no almost immediately. I called carnival and she said no problem, we will have it done in 10 min. Superb service and fantastic choice for any minor or major repairs on suede level material. Even gave my dog a treat!...
