The D Las Vegas — Local services in Las Vegas

I like the D. I like it's style: the black red, the visual themes, the font choices. I like picking up what I think is a nod to Belgium (though no waffles?). It's smart. I have only two complaints: our check in experiences with Vanessa was not okay. I stood in front of her waiting for four minutes while she did whatever she was doing looking at her screen. She didn't look at me when it was finally time to approach, informed me that my friend's card had been denied, my friend intervened, a manager was consulted, on the second managerial consultation, my friend got an upgrade, and I had to ask for the complimentary welcome beer rather than be asked (which is an excellent touch BTW). I would have liked to have spent more time in the casino, but the music was too damned loud and wasn't that great. The Sunday night dancers were doing a foot to foot thing that was a bit sad, but maybe that's what a Sunday night dance is supposed to look like? There was no way to control the AC in the fitness room and with the heat being 112 outside, the room was a sweat box before I started sweating. After a night on the town, going to sleep with the rocking sounds of Freemont Street blending with other noises was a bit like listening to an as yet unreleased Pink Floyd tune. We came to The D Las Vegas while we were visiting Fremont Street. Just straight to the point. Maybe I’m snobby, but this just isn’t a place for me. This casino is very dated and worn down. While I will say the casinos staff are very nice. It doesn’t make up for the fact that this place needs a major facelift. The drinks are also extremely watered down. I’m a very light drinker. Where I can have one margarita and start to feel a little buzz. I had three margaritas, no buzz. And be honest I couldn’t even taste that there was any tequila in the drink. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t come here. But if you’re looking for a little little bit higher class casino. This is definitely not the place for you. The best deal in town, the best location for you to be able to reach Fremont straight out of your hotel... The suite area has a secret entrance on every floor. Your hallway is not shared with those guess who are not staying in suite rooms .. they have every amenity but a microwave and I think that would be greatly appreciated.
