I was walking on Fremont when I seen this restaurant. The line was long so I knew the food was going to be good. I've had some drinks but I knew what I was talking about. When I got to the front to order, I ordered my food from the older lady (in black in the photo I attached) who I believe is the mom. I ordered a cabeza nacho (cabeza was more $$ wise) A minute after paying, I looked at the menu and didn't realize that there was BEANS in the nachos. The older lady moves to the back and I believe the younger lady, which may be the daughter took over the register. As soon as I read there was beans in the nachos, I immediately turned around and told the younger lady, "No beans" literally 3 times. The younger lady heard me loud and clear, and a customer right next to me also heard me too.
When I got my nachos, I realized there were beans in there. I took it back and told the older lady, "I told the younger lady no beans on my nachos x3 times and she said ok" The words that came out of the older lady's mouth was unbelievable. I remember so vividly and this is what she said, "You ordered with me and didn't tell me no beans. Because this meat is expensive, I can't do anything about it. That meat is expensive” and just hands me back my food. At first I was a bit confused, but I knew the meat was expensive that's why I was willing to pay the extra amount for it. Had I known there were beans in the nachos, I would have initially told her no beans. This was my first time there, I was just visiting Vegas for a few days. After being told the meat was expensive, I didn't know what to say so I just took my food, ate around it and left.
The nachos were good but the service was trash. I am a service manager for my own company and I would never speak to a customer like that. She could have offered to accommodate me for another day or even at least apologized about having the beans in there when I asked x3 times for no beans, and nothing. I was thinking about the nachos all week after eating them but I will never come back to a business that talks like that with their customers. She is hella rude!!!!!!!!!! Worse...
Read moreIf I could put zero I would. Service is unbelievably bad, I repeated my order 3 times (a queso birria taco, side of rice, side of guac and a side of consome.) This place is extremely over priced $3 for a side of guacamole and $3 for a side of RICE $1 extra for the sauce the taco comes with EVERY OTHER TACO PLACE and the taco BY ITSELF is now like $7. I get my food and lady forgot to charge me for my consome so I would have to wait in line to pay for some sauce so I said whatever nevermind. (Frustrating again because I repeated my order 3 times) then I had to ask for my side of guacamole which when I got was in a literal sauce container like the ones they put green and red sauce in. So at that point I was just over it and I just asked for my money back. Lady looked at me crazy and went to tell the lady at the register I wanted my money back. Women at the register called the manager lady over and the 3 employees not knowing I am puerto rican because I look super white start talking shit in spanish about why I want a refund (im cheap because I didnt wana pay for sauce) Which is WILD BECAUSE I ORDERED IT 3 TIMES. I told the 3 ladies that were talking shit that I could understand them and I wanted a refund because I was frustrated that everytime I come here its more money and I get less food. The "manager" lady tells me that she's been here 3-4 months and they haven't changed any prices. Like ma'am YOU CAN LITERALLY LOOK AT YOUR REVIEWS AND SEE YOUR PRICES WENT UP! THERE ARE PHOTOS OF YOUR MENU! She said "its hard to change the prices" But they are written in marker on a laminated sign. I have been coming here for years on and off because I work on fremont and there are very limited options so I personally witnessed when I would come around it was more and more. It took over 15 mins for someone to figure out how to refund my money, I paid with CASH. Ridiculous and hopefully their bad business practices catch up with them soon. Do yourself a favor and go literally...
Read moreOn a recommendation I tried this spot. I was very excited to try the Birria..... If you don't know any better, I guess it would be great. But what they called Birria, is not what Birria is. I went here on two separate occasions, cause I thought maybe they had an off day the first time. I was wrong, it was the same. What I tried here was a Birria burrito, a QuesoBirria, the Gringa ( which was supposed to be an Al Pastor taco), and I got the Birria with Consumé. If the meat isn't cooked with the Consumé, then it's just beef. The Consumé barely had flavor or the taste of the chili that makes the Birria Consumé. Neither the burrito or the QuesoBirria had any red juice to it at all. The Al Pastor wasn't as bad as the Birria, but wasn't good either. A few friends of mine ordered different tacos, and although I didn't try them, this is what I saw...... The "carnitas" was served in square meat chunks, and if you ever had carnitas you know that it is shredded. The shrimp in the shrimp tacos were not deveined. The service was very friendly, they were also quick. Was it worth the $60 I spent between both occasions? No it was not. I will never...
