We visited this store today, i.e. 05.03.24. At first, a young woman who proclaimed that she is one of the managers assisted us. My wife's intent was to exchange a retired ring (like for like) for a smaller size that was available in store. The associate declared that she could not do the exchange. I intervened and inquired her job title. She looked at me and declared she's one of the managers. After posing a few additional inquiries about the chain of command, it turned out that she's a Team Lead Sales associate. She was bothered when I addressed the difference of a Team Lead vs. manager. She went to the Assistant Store Manager upon our request. The Assistant Store Manger listened for the reason to exchange the ring, and she stated that it's outside of their window exchange policy. After we declared that my wife made the purchase on line at this store, and we reside outside of IL, she simply declined. I posed inquiries to her about other Pandora stores making exchanges outside of Pandora's policy, and my wife being a very loyal customer, still nothing. We learned that the store is a franchise and not corporate, hence the much more stricter policies. Afterwards, we inquired speaking with the store manager, Susan. We dialogued with her, and the same exact results. What appalled us that my wife has made purchases at this store during our last visit in IL, purchased the ring online, and was going to make additional purchases of retired pieces. I stopped my wife to make additional purchases since they were not inclined to make a one time exception of exchanging a like for like ring. The ring she purchased was never worn and has the receipt. Susan also declared that she could not do the exchange since it would set a bad rule for her subordinates. Make sense? She's a store manager to make this simple exchange for the ring. We will.never return back to this Pandora store for any reason, especially when the store's Assistant Manager gave us a dirty look. Very unprofessional and surprisingly that this is a "high volume" store.
Update - 05.03.23 18:30 - I called the number provided and it was the wrong phone number. Their customer service overall is below average. I would recommend a different...
Read moreI want to express how disappointing my experience at this location was. Jacky, a young Hispanic girl, assisted me today. I arrived 20 minutes before closing time, and there were several other customers in the store. Normally, I love my experiences at Pandora because the employees are always super nice and welcoming. However, this time was different.
Jacky took my ring, started scratching it, and told me that it had to be brand new to return it, which is not their policy. I had purchased the ring just three days prior and was simply looking for a size exchange. She was overwhelmingly rude and rolled her eyes at me multiple times. While telling me I couldn’t exchange it, she was playing with my ring, putting it on and off her fingers, which I found extremely immature.
She then brought another girl over, and they informed me that the receipt indicated the ring was a size six, even though it was clearly a size five. The receipt confirmed it was a five. I’m not upset about following a policy; I’m upset about the way I was treated. Because of this rude treatment, I will never return to this location. Please consider how you treat...
Read moreSo I went to this store to try to either exchange or return the product since it was defective. For some reason the girl that was helping me decided to try to fix it which it wasn’t something I asked for so I asked for a manager. The manager was great, she was able to exchange the item but on the process of doing so the girl name Julianna kept telling the manager that she fixed it, she said more than 3 times. It really bothered me since I’m a loyal customer of Susan’s, the other manager. So I decided to tell the current manager on duty about the disrespect and Julianna decided to say “I’m right here, you can say it to me” I then told her how it’s not customer service friendly to do that. She rolled her yes at me and when I confronted her about it, she denied it. The manager apologized for her behavior. Overall that’s a horrible experience because I don’t believe this employee should have acted in that behavior with a loyal customer and she should be conducted to being professional about these type of situations instead of being rude. Especially since this was my...
