I will repeat myself what’s best for me and that is to be refunded for all the moving expenses that I invested in but didn’t receive a functioning apartment. All the monthly rent I paid for a not fully functioning apartment. Paying for all my efforts in reporting and coordinating all the repair efforts (your job), and reimbursing me for the clothes destroyed. Thank you for offering to do what’s best for me. Please confirm when you have given me what’s best for me in my words not yours
5am wake up call happening daily because the walls are so thin I can hear a small dog barking even while wearing ear plugs
Initial problems in first week upon moving in: Dishwasher did not work and needed to be replaced The washing machine left detergent stains on all my clothing and linens of mine and my fiancé Dryer was not cleaned and full of last tenants hair and dust The replacement dryer doesn’t dry the clothes fully The bath didn’t work and needed repair Mailbox key didn’t work and needed to be replaced During the turnover process several areas in home were untouched and full of dust Fridge leaks puddles of possible toxic chemicals every few days AC was not reset so it was running of the previous tenants schedule waking me up early every day
It’s disappointed several of these issues have continued to be neglected and have continued to cause me my time and energy since November.
in addition to having all these issues in my unit and the dog next door it’s always something here: elevators broken every week, water shutdowns for multiple days, the hallways have the ac on blast and super cold, dirty water coming out of faucets, areas smell like dog pee. Do not be fooled by the flood of glowing reviews they are clearly fake or written by people who do not live here. Since Sentral took over, the experience has tanked. They gutted the entire former staff and replaced them with… well, no one. There is zero management presence on-site.
The only person you’ll consistently interact with is Amiee Barraza, and I use “interact” loosely. She is consistently cold, dismissive, and makes you feel like a burden any time you raise a concern whether you’re calling or speaking to her in person. She’s not interested in resolving issues, only in shutting them down with a rehearsed excuse or a condescending tone.
You’re paying luxury prices, but there’s absolutely nothing luxurious about the service. The concierge service? Gone. Communication? Almost non-existent. Accountability? Laughable.
And if you’re hoping the social events might redeem the experience don’t bother. They’ve always been uninspired, and that hasn’t changed because the same on-site employee still runs them. She lives here, but that doesn’t translate into any meaningful sense of community or quality. She works for the building owners.
Bottom line: you’re paying for a brand name and getting a skeleton crew that doesn’t care. Sentral is running this place into the ground. Don’t waste your...
Read moreMy wife and I moved here in 2019, and have enjoyed our stay so much. It’s a wonderful community, a good mix of families as well as young people. The location is excellent, you live right on top of a Trader Joe’s, which is super convenient, and you’re right in the heart of Hollywood close to some of the best restaurants and entertainment in LA! Amenities at this place are incredible, the gym is a full 24 hour with every piece of equipment you can imagine, The pool and spa are incredible, there is a rooftop deck with views of the hills and west Hollywood. We are unfortunately moving, but this is because we had a baby and are moving to a bigger space in a nearby area. This building recently changed management. Now run by a company called Sentral. Erica, Richard and Aimee were so kind and friendly, they worked with us on our end of lease and were flexible with our move out dates and just overall were a pleasure to deal with. We will be sad to leave this place but on to the next chapter! We will definitely come back to visit some very dear friends who live there. Definitely...
