Aiso Parking Garage — Local services in Los Angeles

Parked here on Tuesday. The card reader apparently only has the abilities to swipe. The swipe wasn't working when I tried to leave so the attendant gave me a promissory note for me to pay the parking fees at a later time.

The fees are required to be paid within 7 days or they can tack on fees, send to collections, sue, etc. (they take your DL # to do this). The issue is, the promissory note has no instructions on how to pay. I have called the number provided 5 times and no one answers. I have tried pressing 2 to leave a voicemail, but no one has gotten back to me. I have tried pressing different prompts and get "no one is available to take your call" or "your call cannot be connected."

I emailed the customer care email that the phone number and website send you to, but no response thus far. To pay online, you have to have either a monthly account number/ID or a violation number, which I don't have. It also specifically says not to just mail a check to the address without instructions from staff.

I'm starting to worry that this is going to turn into a nightmare of fighting collections or getting a ticket tacked on my my driver's license over $14 parking because their card reader wasn't working and they don't provide a reasonable means of actually paying what they allege you owe after the fact. It just feels super...

Terrible service. Line of cars was backed up due to custodian not keeping the line moving and causing build up. Ticket machines to pay to get out are still broken even after year causing u to have to pay extra if u can't get to a person. Will make u pay extra even if it is their fault. They can take a long time to verify each ticket one by one and it causes traffic to leave. They also do not take responsibility if it is due to them causing the build up. Due to this I left only 2 min later then my two hour mark when I should of left 15 minutes before the two hour mark and was charged 3 extra dollars for a whole hour for being in line caused by their service team not handling the tickets properly and efficiently so because of build up of cars of their own actions was charged more for what was out of my control. Only went 2 min over the two hour mark due to their inefficiency and was charged without anyway to dispute charge. Will not listen to reason and will make cars wait just so they can get there extra dollar or two. Which will cause more buildup and do so with knowledge that they can take more money from people for those who are waiting behind you so they can make profit off of their own mistakes. Just advising so others...

The parking lot and stalls are pretty clean and feels secure, more or less, with a security guard stationed at the First Street stairway when we came back in the afternoon. Would be great if he put his phone away and paid attention to people using the stairs.

It would be too much to ask for the once cleared street level corner to be landscaped and manicured again but it is probably fenced and closed off to keep tents and trash off their property. Tents are along the sidewalk.

The ticket machines seem to all be vandalized so keep your ticket safe, have cash ready to hand to the entrance gate keeper for a quick and easy exit, and remember the posted closing times so you don't get locked in. Have a fun...
