i can’t give it a 0 so im giving you a 1 star. awful experience, the service was horrible. Why does brandy melville hire incompetent teenage girls who don’t take their jobs seriously. Like aren’t you guys suppose to increase your sales and satisfy customers? No, instead they do the opposite being extremely rude, saying how they’re too lazy to do their job. I wanted to buy a top from them but i left my card and they don’t accept cash, and since they were closing, i had to run back and get my card, however when i got back to the store it was 9.05, five minutes after their closing time. I politely asked two employees outside the store if they were still open, and they said no. I’m not from the U.S and i’m leaving the next day, plus the top was cute so i couldn’t just leave it. So i said can i just buy one top really quick. One girl said idk you’ll have to ask the cashier and the other girl just straight up says no, in my opinion that was quite rude especially since not even a minute later they both went inside the store and the girl who said no locked up the door infront of me. She could’ve politely say, “no, sorry we’re close you can come back tomorrow”but she did not, instead she chose to act rudely towards me, a customer who wants to quickly buy just one top, without trying it or looking around the store, and i just needed to tap my card to purchase it. Idk, its just my opinion that she was rude, she could’ve acted nicer towards me. Maybe she just had a bad day? But even if she did, you shouldn’t treat your customers poorly, differentiate personal matter with...

Read moreMy daughter and I shopped at this location last week. There were 5 sales girls and not asked to help anyone that was shopping in the store. I asked one if a pair of shorts my daughter was looking at came in an XS. She said she didn't know and walked off talking to another sales girl about how hungry she was. My daughter decided to try some clothes on, no one was in the fitting room area. So she went ahead and got herself a fitting room as did the other four customers that were wanting to try clothes on also. When we went to the counter to purchase our items the girl that had said she was hungry. Was there behind the counter eating her dinner and talking with the other sales girls as if they were the only ones in the store. We have shopped at other locations (Newport Fashion Island and Pacific Beach) and haven't had the same disappointing experience so maybe its just an LA thing. Too bad they need all the customers they can get, there store is in a really odd location on the back side of the main mall next to the driving entrance of one way to get in the parking garage. Not sure what the management is like. From our experience...
