Stopped by The Win~Dow at The Grove on a Wednesday afternoon after shopping to grab a quick bite, and wow, this shot straight into my top 3 smash burgers in LA. The crispy edges on the patty were perfection, and the meat itself was juicy and flavorful. The onions in the burger were such a nice touch, sweet, crispy, and balanced just right. The bun deserves a chef’s kiss too with that perfect meat-to-bun ratio that makes every bite spot on.
I also ordered a fresh-squeezed lemonade, and it hit the mark, tart, sweet, and super refreshing. I took my order to go, but noticed they have both indoor and outdoor seating if you want to hang out. The space itself has a really cute, casual vibe and you can tell they are serious about putting out quality burgers.
Honestly, I would take this over Shake Shack any day. It is cheaper, way better, and feels more special. Only heads up is parking at The Grove can be a challenge on weekends, but if you are already here, this...
Read moreI’ve been to this burger spot three times. The food is genuinely delicious and the prices are fair, but the service unfortunately brings the experience down.
The first time, I got there around 8:15 pm (they supposedly close at 9), but the gentleman working in the front was already putting chairs on tables and cleaning up, making it uncomfortable to sit and eat. He was also pretty rude when we asked if we could still order.
The second time, things went better.
But today, around 7 pm, the same gentleman was at the window and again gave a lot of attitude, answering questions rudely and making us feel unwelcome. It’s one thing if it happens once, but twice with the same person isn’t acceptable.
Bottom line: Great burgers and good prices, but the customer service really needs improvement. I hope they address it, because the food is worth...
Read moreAlmost my top spot in LA, just shake off the slip-ups. 🍔✨ The Win-Dow lives up to the hype when it comes to food and value. The cheeseburgers are classic perfection—American cheese, soft bun, flavorful (though small) patty. If you’re hungry, go for the double. The fried chicken sandwich? Also excellent—crispy chicken, tangy aioli, lettuce, and a pillowy bun all working in harmony. And a grain bowl with guac, veggies, egg, and brown rice for just $8? In LA? Practically unheard of. Now, the 3% surcharge should just be incorporated into the price. And while my order was to-go, they forgot the shake—I only got it because I checked and asked. Turns out they were still working on it, and they acted like that’s their usual procedure. In the end I didn’t even like it. Fix the small stuff, and this spot could...
