Emanuel Jewelry Design — Local services in Los Angeles

Our experience with Morris at Emanuel Jewelry Design has been deeply disappointing due to repeated issues with workmanship, a lack of professionalism, and questionable business ethics.

In August 2024, we had custom emerald infinity rings made. Within a month, one ring had loose stones, which I brought back for inspection. Morris claimed nothing was loose. Two weeks later, a stone fell out. When I returned, he replaced the stone and assured me that the other rings were secure. He even stated that if I was unsure, he would return our money. Trusting his word, we chose to keep them and unfortunately went on to order two more rings.

Within three months, another ring—sent to a recipient in Florida—also lost a stone. I collected all five rings (which took time as they were out of state) and asked Morris to do the right thing and remake them properly. On the phone, he agreed, saying, “I’ll make it right.” However, when I arrived in person, he refused to remake them, offering only to replace the missing stone in the second faulty ring.

His behavior in person was rude, condescending, and dismissive. He blamed us for the problems, claiming we were “too rough” on the rings and even accused us of creating issues. He ultimately refused to stand behind his product or honor his earlier assurances.

Quality jewelry should last, and reputable jewelers take responsibility for their workmanship. Sadly, that was not our experience here. I cannot recommend Emanuel Jewelry Design or trust Morris to act...

I ordered two rings (the same rings, but ordered at different times) from Emanuel Jewelry through Etsy. I bought the first one to use as my wedding band, thinking I'd eventually get a matching one if I liked it to stack on either side of my engagement ring. The first ring I ordered was beautiful and fit perfectly. Exactly what I wanted.

I kept it in it's box (outside of initially trying it on and showing my mom) until our wedding, but about a month before, or longer, I was looking at it and noticed that a stone was missing. These rings are very thin, stacking bands, with tiny little diamonds around half the ring. It was so small and on the side - I knew no one would ever actually notice and I had had the ring for a while at that point - but I decided to contact Emanuel anyways.

I didn't ask for a refund or replacement (again, I had it for a while and should have noticed it sooner), but no questions asked Emanuel Jewelry had me send it back to be repaired. I decided to order my second one at that time as well and quickly received both rings back after my order. Everything was incredibly easy and the communications were timely.

Terrible experience. We paid over $600 and when we came to pick our Jewellery, staff (morees ) asked us if we wanted to buy more and we told him no we’re we’re just picking up and then started brushing us off and made us wait and while attending to other customers. It’s like when we told them we were purchasing more their treatment completely changed and they were rude. The other thing that made us very skeptical of the legitimacy of their business was not providing us a receipt for the diamonds that we brought. And when insisted he scribbled something in a piece of paper and stapled his business card!!! Extremely...
