I cannot give enough praise to Michael and the Los Angeles School of Flower Design. I joined the school as a complete amateur, zero training and I left feeling so confident and like I truly have unlocked a new passion. I joined this class for fun, to learn a new skill and be able to make arrangements for family and friends. Other classmates joined for career training or looking to make a career switch. Very cool that both amateur and aspiring florist could learn easily from the same class.

Michael truly makes design simple to understand. He is very hands on. The small class size is great, you definitely get one on one time and tons of feedback as you go.

The location is great! Parking is very easy and safe.

Michael’s warm, silly personality created such a great environment amongst the students. We all walked in strangers and left friends.

This class is an AMAZING value. Supplies and learning materials come included.

Just be sure to clear out some space in your home before class to display all of the incredible arrangements you...

I'll admit, I was a bit hesitant about signing up for any classes after shopping around and attending several other design schools and seminars and being very disappointed. My husband and I are looking to go into business soon with our own arrangements, it has long been a dream of mine to open a flower shop with my name on it but I am just getting my foot in the door and really didn't know where to start. We attended for 5 days and Michael guided us through each piece, from simple to intricate, in a way that made the intimidating fun and gave me confidence to go out and do my own thing. For those that stuck around for the whole class, he gave us an in depth look into the business side of things and taught us a few tricks of the trade I never would have other wise thought to even consider.

I took the sampler class because I was just starting to explore my love for floral design and now I want to return for more classes! Michael is a wonderful teacher who is delightful and witty while demonstrating and explaining in detail how to create beautiful flower arrangements. He has lots of professional experience and knowledge and can throw together gorgeous bouquets in minutes with ease. Truly a great person to learn from with lots of useful tips and tricks on how to put together stunning arrangements that catch the eye and last a long time. He also encourages students to make us even more excited to work and keeps a light and fun energy in the room. 10/10 would recommend anyone thinking of taking flower classes to take Michaels, I promise you will not be...
