Today(7/14/18) a friend, and I went into the store and no one greeted us or welcomed us. At first I thought it was because they were attending others, but people came in after us, and they were greeted and welcomed. We were there for 30 minutes, but of course since we arenât âWhiteâ, âAsianâ, or other(workers came off racist); At no moment did anyone offer us any help or acknowledge us. My friend finally decided to approach a worker, but the man seemed uncomfortable to the point where he just guided my friend to some random glasses and just left us there clueless and confused. So my friend proceeded to try on glasses, but he wanted to know more about 2 similar glasses so he tried approaching another worker who had dreadlocks; it felt as he was trying to avoid attending my friend. Yes the worker helped my friend, but with no type of costumer service. I asked my friend if he felt as we were being treated unequal, and he said yes. I believe another worker whom was behind us overhead so he tried to greet us and offer help, but honestly he was right next to us when we entered and was the first one not to acknowledge us. It was a terrible experience; we had gone there to purchase, but instead we had to leave empty handed due to the poor service. Now weâll have to go to another store to seek better service; hopefully we wonât encounter racist...
Read moreMy new Ray-Ban prescription sunglasses are by far the best Iâve ever had. And Erick, the salesperson who found and fitted them for me, made getting them fast, easy and fun. I explained I wanted the same dark G-15 polarized lenses in the wraparounds I was wearing, but something that could take take a progressive lens prescription.
Without any hesitation Erick reached for a pair on the wall. They had the G-15 lenses I wanted, and they were large enough to block out the bright sunlight from the top and sides, but small enough to look good on me. We tried two more, but we both agreed his first choice was the best. He smoothly took all the measurements for my prescription, wrote up my order, and I was on my way. That was Tuesday, and Jenny called me just 5 days later on Sunday to tell me my glasses were ready.
I can say without exaggerating these new sunglasses are âlife changingâ. Now I can see well at any distance in any light from dawn to dusk. Thereâs no need to constantly be taking them on and off or switching glasses. Virtually no light enters from the sides, so Iâm relaxed with no need to squint. The wider lenses make reading easy, and thereâs no trouble seeing the ground or my feet as there is with most progressives. In other words, they are perfect. Thank you so much Erick. It...
Read moreSo letâs get this straightâRay-Ban/Luxottica is out here running a scam with the confidence of a pyramid scheme, selling âsmartâ sunglasses that arenât smart enough to keep themselves alive for a year? And letâs talk about that warrantyâa warranty in name only, apparently. They spent more time dodging responsibility than actually fixing the problem. The Amazon isnât authorized dealer excuse? Laughable. The blame-the-user excuse? Embarrassing. And the âOops, the battery just dies and thereâs no fixâ excuse? Thatâs not an explanation, thatâs just admitting they sold you trash at luxury pricing.
And letâs not forget the eco-crimesâthese sunglasses donât just betray the buyer, they betray the entire planet. Disposable electronics at designer prices?Ray Ban Luxottica really woke up and chose corporate villainy.
At this point, the only smart choice is never buying from them again. Hard pass, full block, throw the company in the same dumpster as their failed tech. And let the world knowâluxury doesnât mean quality anymore, just...
