For over three decades, I have been a loyal customer of Love Sees Candies, a beloved institution in SoCal and the US. However, I have recently expressed concerns about the company’s recent practices. One notable issue is the significant increase in prices. For instance, a standard 1-pound box of assorted chocolates, which used to be a reasonable value, now costs $38!! This price hike is particularly concerning given the quality of the selection in the chocolate prepackaged boxes. Furthermore, the packaging has changed to some cheap bubble wrap, instead of the paper lined gold paper topper which detracts from the overall premium experience. Additionally, the selection of chocolates has been expanded to include a wide range of fruit-filled confections, which may not align with the preferences of dark chocolate enthusiasts. As a connoisseur of premium chocolate, I value the quality and purity of the chocolate. The selection of dark chocolates should prioritize solid chocolate pieces and truffles, similar to the offerings of European brands. While many seniors enjoy your chocolates as it brings up fond memories of family time, it is questionable whether they can afford the high prices. It may be time for See’s aficionados to consider alternative options, such as Newhaus or Venchi, which offer premium quality, presentation, and selection. Despite my fondness for See’s Candies, I am concerned about the decline in its brand image. While the prices are rising, the quality, in some cases, and presentation of the chocolates have diminished. It is essential for See’s to strike a balance between premium pricing and maintaining the high standards that have made the brand successful...
Read moreThe manager Ashley is extremely rude and has the absolutely worst attitude with the customers that are not only waiting outside for a long time to go in but they are waiting in the extreme heat to be able to purchase the chocolate. She yelled at us and told us to back off when I was trying to ask her a question. Then she accused us of being there just to ask for free samples!!!!! Who is this person?!?! We were not making a long line to ask for a free sample! We were there to buy chocolate. Obviously she has no manners it all. She doesn’t understand how to treat customers. If I was the owner of this store I would reconsider having this woman represent their store. I will not come back to this location since this lady has the worst customer service. Once we left we realized that they have overcharged us for candy we didn’t even ask for!!! Worst experience ever!!! I hope the company give their employees a better training. Very...
Read moreIt was so hot and humid out. We walked into See's to grab some chocolate and ended up with a bunch. It was so cool in there. The place is spotless and the service is ever so nice.
They have everything you might want in the way of chocolate. They have caramel pops, chocolate pops, small items for a snack and so many boxes already made up that you can have a great sampling of whatever you like. You can buy one piece or pounds and pounds. You can have a sample. They have a great selection out and a person waiting to help you.
For what you are getting the prices are so fair.
You will...
