The Spice & Tea Exchange of John's Pass is a treasure trove of natural, locally sourced spice, herb, and tea blends, even specialty sugars- all handcrafted. From mango habanero sugar rims for your margaritas to their Signature Florida Sunshine citrus salt, these flavors are designed to instantly add a whole new dimension of satisfaction to your recipes. Many of these custom blends were actually crafted at this very location over the last 15 years, and I was surprised to find out that the John’s Pass location is actually the 2nd in the entire franchise! The moment I walked through the door I experienced a level of hospitality that instantly made me feel right at home- you can really feel the love that this family puts into this amazing local business. Thanks to Brian and Rob I walked away from my first visit with a handful of spices to recipe test for an upcoming catering event- and the taste testing results were unbelievably delicious! If you are looking to spice up your home cooked meals or indulge in an artisan cup of tea, look no further than here. The flavor possibilities are endless! Thank again to Brian, Rob, and Lisa for teaming up with us to bring FLAVOR to the people at our launch event!

I have been a long time customer, since 2013. I always enjoyed their teas and spices, but I have a special fondness for a spice blend called Pirate’s Bite. It is one of the spices that I use in my secret fajita recipe. It’s a great all purpose spice blend. However, due to my new blood pressure concerns, I couldn’t have the salt that most people can enjoy. The great crew at The Tea and Spice Exchange mixed me up a batch of Pirate’s Bite with no salt, and they truly went above and beyond. A lot of companies will talk about offering great customer service, but the crew of The Tea and Spice Exchange are the ultimate example of that. Also, they are really friendly and will answer any questions you have. A very nice feature of the shop is that you can try small quantities of spices before you commit to a large quantity. It’s just an excellent way to try a variety of blends that you won’t find anywhere else. It is truly a treasure of John’s Pass. I very highly recommend a visit.
