Manitou Outpost — Local services in Manitou Springs

I've visited this store many a time over the years while visiting Manitou springs. Sometimes I find items, sometimes I don't, it all depends who I'm shopping for.

The store is always stocked with tons of items. The staff is always friendly and willing to stop what they are doing to have a chat with you. Im sure they get travelers all day every day as they are located in the heart of the tourist area.

If your looking for some nice souvenirs this is a good place to shop. Many nice items that fit niche collections for many individuals.

Id give 5 stars but the store isn't geared a specific direction, and prices are a bit on the high side. That said, when you find something here its gonna be something you probably wont find at the...

We wanted ice cream on a hot summer day and I asked for chocolate and then I asked if I could have hot fudge and he said no we don’t have that and then I said can I have whip cream and he said no we don’t have that and then as I paid I spied the whip cream inside the fridge behind the counter and I said to him I can see that you have whip cream and he looked at it and he said yes but that whip cream is for people who order drinks, if I give it to you we will run out, and so I paid for my ice cream without whip cream. The man who who checked us out forgot to put all of our items in the bag. After walking out of the store and immediately turning around after my son was looking for his purchase in the bag and it wasn’t there and when we told the clerk what happened he was dismissive, rude and had a complete lack of empathy. It was clearly his fault for not putting it in the bag but he didn’t care that his mistake broke a 7 year old boys heart.
