Snowshoe Mountain Resort's "ice skating" is a fraud. We mistook the rink for a dance floor when we first saw it. I felt like I had been cheated out of nearly 60 bucks when I saw that this was the "ice rink". When I requested a refund, the assistant manager became enraged and romptly refused a refund. The indoor rink is perfect for the days when the weather is not great outside, or when you want to do something a little different. It's located inside Mountain Lodge right by the Village. Capacity is limited to a max of 15, so it's not a huge crowd. The kids think the Glice synthetic ice is easy to skate on, and they love that they don't end up with cold/wet bottom when they fall down. Rental skates are included in the price...
