Boot Barn — Local services in Marysville

I’ve been in here a dozen times, maybe more and I love this Boot Barn. I have been when it’s busy and when it’s dead in there. I’ve been in for 5-10 mins, and I’ve been in for an hour plus. I was even there on Black Friday and I’m not sure where people are coming up with these reviews. I see and interact with Jason (the store manager) EVERY time I come in. He’s a nice guy that makes a point to interact with patrons, something that’s not often done by managers. I’d say yeah, he runs a tight ship. That’s why the store is immaculate, stocked, and in order EVERY time you come in. It takes some orchestration and discipline for things like that. Now I can’t speak for other people’s perceptions/interactions, and won’t discount them as totally made up, but I’ve never seen disrespect come from Jason, period. Whether to a patron or employee. If that’s always the case, I couldn’t possibly know that. Just as others couldn’t possibly know that he has extremely positive and friendly interactions with others (like I’ve experienced). The fact is, the store is always in good order, well stocked, and I always get great customer service when I’m there, even so much as to a hat specialist approaching me and asking if I needed any adjustments to my hat and doing them for me. So my personal opinion is some of the reviews may be somewhat inflated or disingenuous in ways. But to each their own, maybe others came in on a rough day, I don’t know.

Regardless, I’ll always come shop at this Boot Barn and am happy we have one close by finally! I’d 100% recommend it and I have personally had ZERO issues with Jason (store manager). Don’t let the reviews scare you from the store, most likely you’ll see Jason, he’ll say hi, ask if you need any help, tell you about any deals going on, and you’ll be on your way shopping. Honestly, the store is pretty good. It's the store manager that makes this place bad. He was just rude in every aspect of being alive. I was trying to buy some boots, but was concerned with the level of waterproof they might be. I understand that waterproof isn't exactly waterproof, but some are better than others. He untimely drove me out of the store empty handed. He wouldn't even let me speak when trying to explain what I was looking for. As I was leaving I overheard him yelling at one of the employees about her broken tooth, and how she could deal with it on her own time. It's guys like this that give men a bad name, and I hope he finds a new career he can be happy with, because he sure isn't happy where he is. Everyone has bad days, but this is the second time he has stopped me from buying something from the store. The first was when I was trying to buy a cowboy hat for my brother in law, but he wouldn't listen long enough to hear that it was a gift, and who is he to say black wouldn't work for me. I had a hard time deciding on a pair of boots. There were 4 pairs in front of me. A young lady named khloe... im not sure I spelled that right. She stopped and was a great help. She even found the matching shoes for Mr. I decided to buy 2 of the 4 pairs. Thank you Khloe!

On another note.... there was a dark haired woman with a cowboy hat on dressed in western gear, and a mask. standing up by the register... she tried to tell khloe to put my sale under her name because she helped me?
