So I just left the IHOP near twin lakes. I am completely disappointed at the service and the food. After ordering my cynastack I cut it and took one little section of the pancake. after putting that in my mouth I realized it was disgusting. It reminded me of pancake batter that's past the date. tasted like cabinet or cupboard. So I went to the waitress and let her know I couldn't eat it and mentioned I thought that maybe the pancake batter had been expired or something. So immediately she tells me I'm wrong because the pancake batter was just made this morning okay but what ingredients do you use to make pancake batter and are you sure that the dates are good on those ingredients like I don't know what the problem is with the pancakes but they weren't right yo but she does not offer me anything to replace it with instead tries to charge me 50% of the bill.and what happened to the customers always right? What happened to good customer service at IHOP because not only did she tell me I was wrong because it was made today she didn't offer a replacement order at all nope she says I'll take 50% off my pancakes sat there on my table I could not eat it I'm not going to pay for that. And she proceeds to tell me that if I ever come back she's going to call the police on me. Come on now people is this how we are supposed to be treating customers? how do you expect people to react when they're treated like that. maybe the flower was expired I don't know what it was but it was not the way I should be and my service was not what it should be either and it's very disappointing because I waited an hour outside the building for it to open just to have that pancake and for what to leave with an empty stomach and a bad taste in my mouth literally and metaphorically. I don't believe that this should be swept under the rug. someone needs to teach that woman how to treat customers. Especially if she's the only one there helping customers and someone also needs to check the expiration dates on all your guy's product because it was disgusting dude not what I would...
Read moreThe food is delicious but the service is absolutely horrible. The first time we went to this IHOP we waited over 45 minutes for our food just to find out they had misplaced our order receipt on top of a booth barrier a few feet away, and our order never got placed in the system so we would have to wait even longer since our food never got cooked. The ONLY reason we stayed is because we promised our daughter IHOP for doing good at school. When she heard us talking about leaving before she got her hard earned special dinner she was absolutely heartbroken. So we stayed for her. Later on we were going to try to see if the restaurant had gotten any better. The only thing they got "better" the second time we went was they actually put our order in the system. While we were waiting we ordered a couple seasonal coffee drinks. We never got them. It took over an hour to get our food and our food was goofed up. The waitstaff was nonexistent enough we did not know our waiter's name until we got the receipt. The people were nice but there was absolutely no motivation to help customers or other staff. The food is good, the service is beyond bad. Update: During this last year we went a few times and the service was much better, but then it tanked again the other night. Again we had to wait over 45 minutes to get our food and there were very few people in the restaurant. Of those few one table didn't get their side of hashbrowns until they were just about to leave, another table, with people who arrived earlier than my family, when they finally got their food the order was all messed up. On top of that 3 out of 4 of us got our food, but my son's didn't arrive until the 3 of us were done eating. The waitress was new and was doing her best. Unfortunately, management and the cooks were of no help to her since she can bring the food to the tables only as fast as the cook...
Read moreI took my mother to lunch on November 11th the service was good and fast thank you. BUT when i received the bill it was $49 and some change. I said oh i don’t think this is the right bill. The waiter said oh no your right i will be right back. So he comes back with another bill for $29 i said that looks better. So then i ask for a voided copy of the $49 charge. He said he could not do that. So i requested to speak with the manager. He sent Melissa over to me. She said oh this $49 charge will NOT hit your account and will fall off. WELL it did NOT fall off and in fact they charged me $59 so they added a $10 tip onto a bill i never signed for and i was I ashired would not hit my account. So then I called and the week after and reached out to Melissa and ask her why the transaction hit my account and why an additional $10 was charged? She replied and said she did not know but that she would get it taken care of immediately. She told me she would call me right back and let me know that everything was reversed and taken care of. I never received a call back from her I waited three additional days for correspondence and received none. I called the location again and spoke with Gordon the general manager about the situation. He indicated to me that nothing was ever addressed to him about that situation. Then he reassured me that it was taken care of this last Monday. I have still yet to get a credit back on my account and it’s been two weeks since this situation occurred. It’s been a lot of headache with my bank and dealing with this store. They never even offered to give me something for the poor customer service I received. I highly recommend that you look at your bill and make sure it’s correct . Very dissatisfied...
