Marshall's is an absolute treasure trove of shopping delights. This store is not only vast and well-stocked, but it also boasts some of the most helpful and pleasant staff, even if their name tags are occasionally MIA. We firmly believe that in the realm of customer service, a visible name tag is a must. Yet, their courteous demeanor more than made up for it. It's not every day you encounter such a harmonious shopping experience, given the challenges they face during rush hours. Unlike the Walmart saga, where waiting in line for 30 minutes is par for the course, and customer interactions are somewhat of a rarity.
But, let's be honest, walking into Marshall's can be a perilous expedition. What started as a quest for just two items somehow morphed into a full double basket extravaganza. The variety and prices are too tempting to resist. You'll find yourself getting lost in a sea of possibilities. I could easily part with thousands in there â it's that enticing. If you seek inspiration for your home or aspire to enhance your kitchen's organization and functionality, Marshall's is the answer to your prayers. They seem to have everything under the sun, especially on days like today, where the cookware selection had me hooked.
This store is a haven for anyone who appreciates a good deal and doesn't mind indulging in retail therapy. While there are some budget options, there are also reputable name brands and even Costco products known for their quality. You'll discover a cornucopia of beauty and self-cleaning items at prices that make you do a double-take. It's hard not to stock up on items like I did today â a case in point being those $6.99 bottles that Amazon charges $26 for. I apologize to my fellow shoppers; I couldn't help myself.
My wiser half always manages to bag incredible clothing at a fraction of the price you'd find in big-name stores, often from prestigious brands. Marshall's is an essential stop to challenge your willpower and see if you can leave without buying something. While they do offer some inexpensive and subpar items, the true gems lie in their high-quality selections. Patience is your best friend here, as the more you explore, the more treasures you'll unearth.
In summary, Marshall's is a shopaholic's dream come true. Whether you're on the hunt for home goods, stylish clothing, or unbeatable deals, this store delivers it all. Happy shopping â Marshall's truly...
Read moreI went into the store to do a return. Thankfully there were only a few other customers in line. After a few minutes the cashier at checkout 1 called me over. Before I arrived another cashier at checkout 2 told me to wait and that she could help me in a few minutes. I said okay and proceeded back to the line when an older woman who had been standing behind the counter the entire time listening to the conversation loudly directed me to go to cashier 1. I told the older women that the cashier 2 just told me to wait. Cashier 2 then spoke up and said I can take her right now. And then the older women said no go to cashier 1. I made my way over to cashier 1 who greeted me kindly. I told her I would like to do a return and gave her my receipt and the item with the tag still attached. She asked for my card that I used. As she was starting the return process the older women asked why I was returning the sunglasses. I stated they fall off my face. When I tried them there was a blocky security tag. And now without it they don't fit. The older women then boldly claimed that I completely scratched the glasses up and wore them. I said no i didn't, I can't even wear them, they literally are too big for my head. She said well you did. My husband who was with me told the incorrect older woman that " my wife hasn't worn these! The large tag is still on there ! There's no way to wear these with that on there! " The older woman then said "oh you would be surprised". The cashier, my husband and i- along with the couple at cashier 2 just looked at each other utterly confused by her statements. The older woman then walked out of the check out area to randomly put a cart away that was no where near her. The cashier began to apologize saying " sorry for that" and I told her" she has no reason to apologize ". I asked her who that older woman was and she told me the assistant manager! I was dumbfounded that a assistant manager would continue to accuse a customer and be hostile towards them. I was visible upset and the cashier continued to apologize. I told her that the assistant manager was extremely rude and shouldn't be treating me that way. The couple next to us agreed. The sunglasses were in the original condition I...
Read moreThe carts at Marshalls will not accommodate a standard infant car seat no matter how many different ways you attempt to make one fit. The child seat on the carts is also incredibly small.
Ideally, everyone could always shop without their small children. Or perhaps the thought is that small children should stand, silently and obediently, while their accompanying adult browses through aisles crowded with glittering displays and countless shiny and breakable temptations, aisles so small that two adults cannot walk through them shoulder-to-shoulder.
Hey Marshalls, I want to live in that world too. Unfortunately I live in the real one, where kids get buckled into carts and car seats need to fit inside or on top of a cart, and leave room for purchases.
I know that losing one customer makes no difference to marshalls bottom line, and I'm not going to start a facebook group for "moms against marshalls" calling for a boycott and a picket line until they get reasonable carts. However, to any mom with children who can't just leave them someplace while they shop, this...
