I wish I could leave negative stars. My daughter came in and was approached by the owner, Lia. After a long talk (which she blames my daughter for staying late that night), Lia convinced my daughter to purchase $30 worth of yarn and promised her it would work for her project. My daughter came home and took what Lia said and incorporated it into her project and it turns out the yarn did not work for the project. So I emailed Lia and ask her for a refund. She had promised my daughter it would work and it didn't. After a few emails back and forth, she agreed to return the yarn. When I got to the store, she called my daughter a liar, placed all the blame on her and refused to return the yarn that SHE TURNED INTO A BALL FOR HER. Again, she offered to spool the yarn into a ball for her and then refused to return it blaming it on my daughter, calling it "trash" now and she couldn't resell it, so she tricked her into doing that. Everyone says "such great customer service", yeah because she's trying to sell you $10 yarn. The customer service was terrible, absolutely terrible!!!! I recommend driving a mile down the road to Joanns for what you need. You can return it if it doesn't work and the customer service is 2500x better than here. She is a small business and I wasn't aware she could afford to treat her customers this way. We will be telling everyone we know NOT to visit this place. Lia couldn't admit she was wrong. That is terrible character as a human being and especially a...
Read moreLia and Barbra are the best! Every time I’ve come into the yarn shop, I’ve been met with beautiful, graceful smiles, helpful tips, and a wonderful array of yarn types and styles. All of my questions have been addressed with a gentle response. I’m new to crochet but now that I’m confident in reading patterns, I’ve begun to dabble in knit. Lia has been kind enough to offer tips on needle types and pattern designers. I’m so thankful that I found this little community as I’m new to the town. Looking forward to many more Tuesday nights...
Read moreSuch a lovely store! I was so pleased with the selection of sock yarn in particular, including some local indie dyer yarn! They've also got a good selection of Berocco yarn with excellent color and weight varieties. The staff was quite helpful, with notion and project suggestions. They also have a swift and winder-I didn't ask though if they wind it or let you. Needle selection is also good, including an interchangable selection in both metal and wood. Would definitely recommend a stop here while...
