Just got home from a very enjoyable afternoon with my two oldest granddaughters (ages 9 & 10). We had lunch and then made our way to Staci Sullivan’s Jewelry and Design Studio on Waverly Place in downtown Melbourne. Staci has helped me with jewelry repair, appraisals, and purchases for several years and she is so kind and a pleasure to work with. She greeted the girls, showing them all kinds of pieces and allowed them to try on different rings all while fielding questions from two extremely inquisitive young ladies. The girls felt welcomed in her store and free to talk, tell stories, and listen as she explained things on their level. Staci very carefully added charms to their bracelets, allowing the girls to decide where they thought best for each new charm to be placed. I don’t think I could take the girls anywhere but to Staci’s store to add charms as we have been there before. After taking care of the girl’s bracelets and fielding question, Staci turned her attention to me and some pieces that I needed appraised and had some questions about. She gave info that I needed and at times answered in ways that I gathered what I needed without too much information being given to the girls when their ears perked up. 😊 She helped me make the decisions I needed to make, spent a little more time with the girls, and then we were able to leave with everyone smiling, happy, and wearing their bracelets with the charms all in place. I took a few pieces into Sullivans to have them repaired, one of which being a very special antique piece I had been wanting to do a conversion on for over a year. The piece was a one-of-a-kind Victorian era seed pearl swallow brooch with the tinniest ruby eyes that I had purchased with the intent of converting it into a more wearable pendant. The owner at Sullivan’s spoke at length with me about what I wanted to do with the piece, from carefully removing the dainty bird from the brooch backing to adding a bale at just the right place so it would hang perfectly captured in flight, and I left feeling satisfied that it was in the right hands. My confidence was well placed! The swallow is fast becoming my most complimented piece and I can’t thank and recommend the ladies and bench jeweler at Sullivan's enough! The jeweler did a remarkable job of carefully executing the conversion and not a pearl or ruby red eye was out of place! I have more pieces that I am already planning on bringing into Sullivans and don’t doubt that I will soon add one of their beautiful newly made custom pieces to my growing collection as well!...

I am very excited to share my experience with Staci Sullivan's Jewelry & Design Studio. My first visit to Sullivan’s jewelry was five years ago. My now husband got my incredible engagement ring there and we both got our wedding bands there. We don’t live in Melbourne.
