The fact that city hall allows jets to fly around for practice for hours to put on a memorial day show is absolutely insane. There are so many rules that make zero sense and mess with people for no reason but jets flying around next to peoples apartments and damaging peoples ears and and causing more issues to people with prior health conditions for the sake of entertaining others is completely acceptable and gets approved by city hall and the FAA. When that that flies over you once, you can already feel the damage in your ears. People will get tickets for things like tints on cars, which hurts no one and helps people with different conditions, business owners will get tickets for chairs outside their stores, cars will get tickets for being loud (as they should), people skateboarding will get hassled by law enforcement because they may "get hurt” and sue businesses but when it’s time for an airplane shown for the american people, no rules of well being apply. Today I called ( June 27 ,2025 around !2:00 pm ) the Sanitation Customer Service line at 305-673-7440 to clarify an issue with my water bill. The first woman who answered was incredibly rude, impatient, and downright unpleasant. She seemed annoyed by my simple call and treated me as if I was bothering her with basic questions.
Frustrated, I hung up and decided to call back. Fortunately, the second woman who answered was completely different: friendly, professional, and helped me immediately, but my problem was never resolved.
It is unacceptable that the quality of customer service depends entirely on who answers the phone. The City of Miami Beach urgently needs to train its sanitation representatives to speak respectfully and assist the residents who pay for these services. Basic courtesy should not...

Genuinely the worst system possible and multiple municipalities are adopting it, it is looking grim for future contractors and citizens to work with this because it is genuinely an awful system, and you can’t contact any of the reviewers, nothing ever gets done, I’m still waiting for my permit to be accepted but instead of telling me all the issues I need to fix during the first review, they just tell you a few things, take a month to review, tell you a few more things, take another month. It is impossible to get anything done. I’ve sent all my credentials through the portal and through email and they STILL keep me on hold.
