Edit: Just wanted to add an edit from my originial review. While i still appreciate the store I feel like now I can barely find items that fit me, or the reselling prices are just climbing its very disheartening. While im happy some things are going on sale i dont want every piece to be altered because well then im spending alot on thrifted pieces then the alter it.
Similarly with the website I have trouble really finding cute things my size, maybe its just the size of the store but its a little bit of a let down I thought more long gowns and things would be my sizebut most of the hihgly decorated and embroidered items are 6-12 sz and being a 0 its difficult. I see alot of old pieces constantly there so maybe the turnover is wearing down a little. Overall still nice,
just with the hour changes happening and the lack of new stuff i might have to take a long break like i do with most vintage stores and wait until they have stuff my style again.
Went into this shop after seeing the creators, i wasn't a big big follower but loved their content so super happy to see some cool gals open a store! I am very much used to the vintage scene around here , or thrift stores, or those extremely expensive high end consignment stores.
I LOVED this place, it is really geared toward a more fashion forward Y2k trendy crowd with also amazing denim, long skirts, boots, bags, you name it. It is small enough to allow you to enjoy without being there for 6 hours, and it wasnt too busy and crazy so it was nice to walk and shop.
When i tell you, i found probably 15 amazing items in my size that fit and were not too tight or short etc. I was over the moon, found two pairs of boots to fit my sz/8 foot which is a little rare in these types of shops because they get bought up FAST or usually popular sizes are 5-7.5.
I walked out with 3 hefty bags and it was well worth it. I came back a few days after to get a dress i had put back just to get it because why not it was funky and fun.
If you love vintage shopping and also love when stores are constantly turning over products you need to come here , it feels like they have alot of new, so youre not just getting bogged down with items you have seen before.
Also the owners, the front desk girls they are so sweet, so so so amazing, they held some items for me while i looked, gave me sweet encouragements , and also were suggesting items, the owners are so sweet to talk to and were...
Read moreEditing my review, as originally while I loved my time visiting Peachtree, my online experience wasn't the same. I had purchased a beautiful dress but found it was missing a chunk of sequins from it. I was very upset and left a two star review but to my surprise, I received not only a reply but a refund. Sara and Dani didn't have to do that, as I was well over the refund date. They expressed nothing but kindness and understanding for my frustration and went well out of their way to make it right. They were even kind enough to change my name as to not have my dead name showing. I haven't had such customer service in a long time, especially when it comes to vintage shopping. Needless to say I'm very happy and appreciative of them both! Will definitely continue to support both of them and I'd recommend anyone to not only visit their store but if they ever have an issue to not be afraid to try and talk to them about it. They really do take and act on feedback, I've seen not just from my review but even others. They really do care about their customers, bringing great quality clothing, and community. Thank you...
Read moreThis is about my online shopping experience:
The first two things I see:
"Personalized Phone case" — $72.00 "Prairie dress with missing belt" — $45.00
We all know vintage stores sell these things for a markup but holy cow, $72.00 for a phone case that I can get on Etsy (with even a greater amount of detail) for half their price?! More than that, the so-called "prairie dress" in reality, is actually a part of a something called a "dirndl" and it is missing an apron, NOT a belt. Either they're completely ignorant about selling their own merchandise or they just want to market it to the most consumers and "cottage core" is such a big thing now. Regardless, if you're familiar with vintage clothing, brands, labels, and the likes, this place comes off as a joke. Can't even market their own products properly. Prairie dress — wow. I will not forget that one! The label is even on there for them to do their due diligence on of the brand — which will even pull up results online of other sellers selling the whole dirndl set for...
