Looking to sell a small Diamond ring that was inherited and have my diamond ring sized down. Called this guy on a recommendation. He said I could drop my ring off and two weeks later he would give it back to me sized. I said I was worried about dropping my ring for two weeks and I don’t like to take it off my body. I wanted assurance that I would get the ring back or that he had insurance to cover it while it was off of me for two weeks. I think that’s a valid concern and question when talking about an expensive and sentimental piece of jewelry. He told me if I’m a customer like that he doesn’t need me and I should go somewhere else. He said he’s born and raised in the peninsula and essentially, I should just trust him. My questions were valid. I’m taking care of my property and he spoke so disrespectfully to me. I stopped by to get my battery changed in my watch and from the prior reviews I thought this was a good place. However the person who waited on me fumbled around and could not get one of the screws back correctly. He charged me $19.67 for the battery and sent me on my way. I was highly disappointed with the poor workmanship. I went to Carmel to Weber Goldsmith Gallery, who were very kind and said they would have their Watch person look at the issue, which cost me $40.00 but the watch was repaired thankfully!
