Couldn’t wait to come here based on the reviews and awards however we were sadly disappointed with the service we received from our server Aaron. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by who seemed like the manager. He was so kind and warm to us you can tell he had a bubbly personality. Right away we felt like we were in for a great time !!! Once we sat down we were coldly greeted by our server Aaron who seemed disappointed that we were there we started with waters and calamari with the She Lobster soup he was extremely cold and his facial expression made us feel so uncomfortable. My 8 year old daughter even said something about his vibe as soon as he walked off. Once he came back with waters he asked us if we were ready to order as yet we said give us a minute please and we ordered my daughters meal - kids prime rib I simply asked him how the prime rib is cooked he looked at me crazy and was like how you want it…. Usually the prime rib is done at a medium rare and can be up cooked at request I just wanted to confirm that it was done the same way out here (we are from Canada) once we ordered medium he quickly left our table. Another server came to drop off our food. He then came back asking if we were ready we said yes and ordered … my husband ordered teriyaki salmon I ordered my steak. We ordered around 7:45 we received our food at 9:10…. We watched our server serve tables that came after us and left before us directly beside us they also had steaks delivered to them before our meals….. he never came to check in us even when the table was clearly empty with nothing for us to eat. We were so disappointed… he then came with our food. Dropped it off and dismissively walked off. Not once did he come to check on our food and how we were or even ask if we wanted a drink with our dinner. When he noticed me making eye contact with him from another table he came by and I asked him for ice cream for my daughter … he was LITERALLY walking away while I was ordering from him so rude. I was so embarrassed having to yell over the music as he’s walking away from me. After us having the food at the table for about less than 10 mins he came by and offered us boxes??? We barely started to eat ?! I was so turned off at this point said yes asked for an espresso martini and the bill. We still tipped him out of respect to the restaurant and etiquette. As I said management is SUPERB !! And by the looks of the other severs it looks like ours just had a bad day and took it out on us. Food was amazing but we didn’t get to enjoy it as the experience was not what we hoped for … we will come back again but request not to sit with Aaron please as we did not like his...

We use to go here pretty frequently on our vacations, its been about 2 years since we went back, and I'm not sure if we went at the wrong time its exactly 4:15 when they open. But the seafood sampler tasted like it was boiled with no seasoning, the crab cake contained no crab. Moving forward we ordered the ribeye and the filet mignon. Again, the ribeye char was perfect, even the temp, but I felt like they forgot to season it. It literally tasted like just cooked meat but the fat made it doable. My mother humbly ate her filet, and I noticed her face was trying to hide it, it was the worst. It was cooked medium but the outside was dried out, no seasoning whatsoever, and it looked like the cut was off...it was kinda of stringy when I cut through it. I was a bit upset but we were hungry from traveling all day and had eaten too much for a complaint to be valid. The service was amazing, the manager was awesome. I don't know what happend with the food but definitely a miss. The salads were amazingly fresh. For a $170ish bill we could have gone elsewhere. I don't think we will be going back. It felt odd for the size crowd, and we are very health conscious and do not use a lot of salts or seasonings....and it was still bland at best. (The sad thing is the presentation looks great!)

Edit: 7/7/24, I'm wonder if they have different chefs on different days. I spoke with some friends and they had mixed reviews. Even reading some of the other reviews they are wildly mixed, its hit or miss. For example I thought management and staff where amazing but the food wasn't the best "this time only"....but I see some having issues with management. They are family owned and have always been welcoming. But then I see some they say how great their food is, but I zoom in on their food especially the fish and it looks overcooked. So I guess it is hit or miss.

We "may" try one more time, next time we...

1st time going to Flamingo Grill and steak house. We have lived here 10 years and this restaurant had been here for years. As locals not tourists. I would never recommend this restaurant. We went based on reviews and what a disappointment. I ordered the hearty cut of Prime Rib at 40 bucks, Medium- rare and added on fried lobster bites at an extra 11 dollars. Ordered my Prime Rib medium rare & blackened. When my meal came the prime Rib was med well, no pink or rare. So our server took it back to get a new cut at the correct temp. And again the prime rib came out over cooked again. The server went to his General Manager and he told our waiter to offer us a free dessert, never came to our table to see if I'd like to order something else in place of the prime Rib. We weren't looking for anything free and did not take free dessert. On our way out the manager was at the front door and asked how our meal was, and I explained I ordered the prime Rib med- rare and was over cooked twice, he knew who we were as our server went to him about my meal. He tried to blame me for ordering it blackened and that's why it wasn't med-rare.. all over their menu it tells you pick your temperature and have it blackened or with bearnasise sauce. Not anywhere does it tell you by ordering blackened prime- Rib Med- rare will come out well and not medium rare. My husband's meal was good. I didn't eat my over cooked prime Rib. And paid a total of 51 bucks for my meal that was terrible. Very disappointed with our meal and the manager could of cared less.. Very unprofessional.. so wasn't worth the money we spent! we will not go back. Our server Matt was wonderful and very professional, he felt horrible about our experience, and apologized...

First visit here was good, except a bad lobster tail. 2nd visit was tonight, wife orders Filet Mignion butterflied well. I order NY Strip medium well. Appetizers and salads were great. Waitress was fantastic. Steaks arrive and server says, "here is your Delmonico" and it looked just like one. I call waitress over, and i said, "the person who brought this said here is your Delmonico, and i didnt order a Delmonico." She double checks order slip and sure enough it said NY Strip medium well. She gets the manager and here is where it gets ugly. He proceeds to tell me the cut of meat was 1 1/2" thick so they butterfly it so the outside doesn't turn to charcoal. He was very condescending and treated me like I was an idiot. I proceeded to tell him, "look, I have ate a million steaks and no one has ever served me a butterflied Strip, and I have a PICTURE of the last 1 1/2" Strip they served me that wasnt butterflied and i didnt order this one butterflied." I showed them that picture and will ATTACH THAT picture below. Managers response was more of the same. I just avoided the conflict and avoided making a scene. I mean, they made a simple mistake, why make up a story and lie to me?? That's my issue. Thick Filet Mignon gets butterflied, not Strip. After this, the waitress avoids us, and came back just to deliver the check and get paid. How many butterflied strip steaks have you ate? I tried to eat the steak, and ate most of it, but it was like charcoal and very tough/overcooked. I made a mistake of not taking a picture of tonight's butterflied Strip. So, I paid the bill and left. Last time we will go back.
