Aerotek — Local services in New York

Let me start by saying that I have met some folks at Aerotek who do not seem at all invested in the well being or success of their clients. I phone interviewed with one manager who spoke to me like I was a chore, and some HR admins who were incredibly unprofessional. Even they couldn't deter from the insight, diligence and follow through that I experienced with Chantal F, which is who these 5 stars are for. She is someone that Aerotek should recognize as a truly exceptional member of their team.

Chantal was an advocate throughout the entire process- checking in at regular intervals before, during, and after the interview process at UncommonGoods. With her help, I actually ended up in a higher paying role! She was always supportive and HONEST. I asked her some tough questions and her straight answers led to me holding out for a role that I'm really enjoying. She even checked in 2 weeks after I was hired to see how I was doing which let me know she was really invested in my success.

Yes this is a seasonal role, but it's at a retail company that has grown year over year since 1999 and has a great reputation. I'm never going to complain about a steady paycheck, the opportunity to help folks and an environment that will absolutely help build my professional experience.

Aerotek has been extremely helpful, transparent, fast, and they genuinely care about you as a person. I'm 100% a real person and I'm writing this review on my own free will (they were really that great). I know some companies pay people to write fake reviews.

I worked with Joseph who has been nothing less than AMAZING! He worked around my schedule, went the extra mile, dropped off extra copies of my resume, and took me out to lunch to see how my first week was going. He really took the time to build a relationship with me and get to know me. I told him my needs and expectations of a job and he gave me different options. I graduated college and moved to New York from North Carolina and I hada hard time finding a job that truly makes me happy.

There are so many people in New York so it's extremely hard to find a company that cares about you and be willing to hire you. I highly recommend this company! They have you come in and do a mock interview, give you feedback, and make sure that you're more than ready for your interview. They will not throw you with just any company or in any position that you don't feel comfortable in. They are honest and will tell you the benefits and hardships of the company. I was reached out to by Aerotek, for a design role. The recruiter that prepared me for the interview process was Christina Nguyen. I've worked with other employment agencies, and a lot of different recruiters in the past, but none have been as professional, or as on point as Christina.

Christina was quick, efficient, and clear about every step of the interview process. She made sure to give me an accurate and clear breakdown of who I would be talking to during the interview, what type of questions they were going to ask, and set up multiple practice sessions with me, to ensure that I was ready and prepared throughout each step.

Most of all, she was very proactive, and made sure that the process was always moving forward at a quick pace. I could always rely on Christina to give me a quick response from the company that I was interviewing with, and I really appreciated the extra initiative that she took to always make herself available to talk with me, to clear up any questions that I had about the process.
