You may think Ann is "expensive" comparatively to other artists, but I doubt you get the quality of makeup, level of service, and emotional support as you do with Ann and her team. Hire Ann to handle your bridal make up and DON'T pass on the full day touch up make up package. It is totally worth it. Ann and her team will follow you around your grounds for photos and touch up EACH and every one of your girls between shots. It's like a real magazine photo shoot. She will also hold your hand, hold your flowers, hold your veil things you never think you'd need but you'll be so glad they are there. She really acts as an extension to your wedding team and you NEED a strong team that day. Ann is a calm artist and she will take feedback right then and there. She doesn't get flustered by complicated moms, and will pivot to a different style, shade etc. for what you think is best. Ann also brought along another makeup artist and she did a lot of my darker skin bridesmaids and she did an AMAZING JOB. I was so in love with how my girls looked, they were so beautiful, clean and vibrant. We were ahead of schedule and had plenty of time to take a lot of photos. On top of the day itself, communication was easy and quick with Ann. She had some crazy personal stuff happen right before our wedding, that did not impact her level of responsiveness and organization. She created the schedule, took feedback, made iterations, and she handled that for both the makeup team and the hair team (which is a different vendor). Ann is an absolute GEM of a human and total expert in her field. I worked with her at a wedding (I'm a wedding photographer) and was instantly blown away by not only her work, but her kindness, professionalism and enthusiasm for her craft. Shortly after, I contacted her for a private lesson because I never learned how to do makeup properly and desperately wanted to learn how - so I felt more confident in photos, just out and about on a night out, you name it! And oh my gosh, she was the BEST teacher! I took videos of everything she taught me and looking back, I'm even more reminded of how excellent of an instructor she is - she explains things clearly and effectively. She not only taught me exactly how to do the clean everyday makeup look I wanted to learn, but wrote down the products she used on me that matched MY specific skin tone, specific to my skin type, the look I wanted - the entire lesson was just so personalized and felt so unique and special. I immediately purchased all of the items she used on me and got to work! With each try of my own, I got better and better and now I feel SO confident going out with a full face of makeup.
