Menu seems overpriced in my opinion. I went with a group of friends for dinner (one of them got it recommended) and we were disappointed by the overall experience. The service and ambiance (for an intimate dinner) is awesome though while not being an expert in the matter, the menu felt somewhat short, especially since I don't eat seafood or fish. The menu is comprised of signature cuisine (then the price), interesting enough that mixes Argentinian (I thought this was going to be the signature and didn't feel it was actually), and international cuisine but that didn't really achieve much as a matter of a "wow" factor. A couple of the meals we got were the tortilla and empanadas which we thought were fine. The menu feels like it needs cohesiveness as options are a bit hard to combine (and to classify, for some can be 'snacks' - at least to me- like olives or eggplant, sitting along with a choripan, empanadas or tortilla as sort of 'side dishes/ starters' and mains like a steak or risotto or fish only) as to get an overall full dinner, specially if you are sharing/ tasting, which probably was our big mistake. Unfortunately what drawn us to go (Argentinian cuisine) was what in someway dissatisfied us and not just because of the menu...
Read moreThe food here is honestly amazing, but it’s such a shame the service is so terrible. We gave this place a second chance, hoping our first experience was just bad luck — but unfortunately, it wasn’t. We got the same waiter again, Jairo (the one with the yellow glasses), and the same awful attitude. He never looked us in the eye, acted like he didn’t want to be there, and even refused to tell us his name at first.
To make things worse, he brought out all the dishes at once, including the dessert, without giving us any time to enjoy our meal properly. Everything felt rushed and careless. The food deserves five stars, but the service is a total disaster. Honestly, it’s the kind of experience that makes you not want to come back...
Read more⭐️AMAZING for Breakfast⭐️ We found Mostrador as our go to place for breakfast and we LOVE IT. The consistency of high quality of pastries, specifically the medialuna with ham and cheese its outstanding. As an Argentinean we have high standards and I must say this is one of the best ones I have ever tried. I would also recommend the Chipa - a cheese bread which is also one of the best I have tried is softy and cheese. This was our 5th time visiting mostrador and we always love to come back, they treat us very kindly in the craziness of NY. Today we were attended by John, he gave us a great service including a nice attentive detail after we had to move of table because of a logistic. Thank you John and Mostrador, we will come...
