Azaleas - Lingerie + Swimwear Boutique — Local services in New York

I love this beautiful, welcoming shop! They have an amazing and eclectic selection of lingerie, swimwear, and fun accessories (+ really cool jewelry in the front case) and in many different price ranges and sizes!

For many years, I'd come in just to window shop and look at all the beautiful things. A couple times, I bought a piece of jewelry. In November, I received a gift card and I went in to try on bras. The young woman who helped me was so thoughtful and patient - I think I tried on over 50. I wanted to see what the bras would look like under a T-shirt, and there was already a T-shirt in the dressing room specifically for that reason!

So many beautiful things to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down. I left with a couple from Skin and Bully Boy and then came back again to buy two more from Clo Intimo.

I was looking forward to visiting this shop and had planned to come in and purchase, but sadly I was disappointed with the service. The girl behind the counter greeted me which was nice but beyond that didn't offer to help me, and when I inquired about 1 item she said she would check if it offered any upf protection but never did inquire so I ended up waiting for nothing. I got the impression she didn't think I was there to buy anything and thus didn't see me as worth investing time on :/ I was really looking forward to coming here too as I'd read other reviews that said really good things. The store and the products are nice enough….but for the price that I paid for the swimsuit, I would be remiss if I did not say that I was not particularly fond of the sales rep. Not sure how many WOC patrons they get BUT I found it offensive when the rep told me that the bikini pieces were sold separately.
