This is what I want from a Barber! Barber Buddy is the perfect no-frills old school NYC barbershop experience. I’ve grown tired of paying $80 for a buzz & beard from a trendy shop that’s trying to appear like a classic barber.

I’ve been to 3-4 barbers looking for a good beard trim and none of them did a good job. A friend told me to check out Barber Buddy and I’m very glad I did.

I walked in at 5pm on a Thursday without an appointment and didn’t have to wait. Larry immediately understood what I wanted to do with my beard without asking me a hundred questions. He did a great job trimming my beard and shaving neck. I explained what I want to do with my beard and he even told me how long I needed to let my beard grow before coming back for a touch up.

Barber Buddy at 55 West 14th Street is hands down one of the best barbershops in NYC! The barber is highly skilled, friendly, and pays close attention to detail. I walked in without an appointment, and despite a steady flow of customers, I didn’t have to wait long.

The shop has a clean, modern, and relaxed vibe, making the whole experience enjoyable. The barber takes his time to get your cut just right, ensuring you walk out looking sharp. Great service, no hassle, and no need to book ahead – just walk in and get a fresh cut!

Went in and there where only two barbers at work so there was a little bit of a wait but not too bad. When I had got to the chair I asked clearly for what I wanted which was a symmetrical undercut and for the entire rest of the day everyone I new had to mention how uneven my haircut looked, it's the kind of uneven where you keep second guessing yourself until someone else mentions it. Over all I felt like i didn't even get my money's worth for how much they charge and on top of that I'll have to spend even more money to fix their mistake....
