We went to Burlington and that costumer service for today from supervisor Elina was terrible. I was trying to buy a 3 piece Canvas but one of the Canvas had a puncture so we thought we could get a discount to $6 .. 8.99 ( original price) / 3 = 6 plus tax .. she discounted to $8.88 and we explained to her that it was still high because one canvas was no good and that 9/3= 6 plus tax and she told us “ you don’t have to buy it “ Roxy told us that she can try to do a price reduction with the scanner and put that one was missing , and Elina told her no , that she couldn’t do that and that she needed to debit it out. Okay we were leaving when we found Rosana ( manager) . we explained to Rosana what had happened and we told her we will do a review because the supervisor was not being helpful and bad attitude. Rosana said she will help us get a reasonable price for it. We were so shocked when supervisor Elina tried to take over Rosanas authority telling her no ! that we cannot buy it. We did buy one Canvas for $4.33 but we were just so petrified on her treatment when we are very respectful and the way that she talks to the employees was very shocking. We over heard her say that she will come to our job and do the same to us( we had our jobs t-shirt on ) We weren’t rude or gave her a bad attitude. We just asked for a reasonable price for what we was purchasing. Is it a threat ? What we overheard ? Thank you very much to the cashiers (Roxana and ……. I don't remember the name of the other) and to Rosana (manager) She so polite and classy with a predisposition to help the customers and give the best attention. I can't say the same for Supervisor Elina to whom I...

Read moreToday, I had a very unpleasant experience at the Burlington store in Rego Park. I purchased four pairs of shoes. One of the shoes was a bit dusty, dirty, and fragile, but I decided to buy it because my daughter requested a pink color shoe. In the past, Burlington has given me a 10% discount in similar cases. Therefore, I asked the sales associate at the counter if it was possible to get a 5-10% discount on this particular shoe based on its condition. The sales associate called their supervisor, Brenda, but she initially refused to come. After several attempts, she finally appeared and said angrily, "No discount. Take it or leave it." She then took the shoe away without any further explanation.
I asked the sales associate, "Where is my shoe?" and they retrieved it from the back. Brenda's attitude felt like a slap in the face—very disrespectful and disgusting. This is not the behavior expected of a manager. Who hires individuals like her as store supervisors? Do you not provide them with proper training on customer service? Learn from Trader Joe's.
Despite this, I purchased all the shoes, including the pink one. However, the experience still bothers me greatly. I feel deeply insulted and humiliated. I hope Burlington will take action...
