-In that store they use people. They hire staff with part-time jobs, however they do not comply with the agreed working hours. They only provide work hours between 25 to 30 hours in the holiday season, the rest of the months they only provide 10 or 15 hours of work per week. Who lives with that in NY? They play with the hunger and need of the staff, and the supervisors are rude and despotic. Be careful about accepting a job there. You have been warned!
-The bathrooms at TJMAX Rego Park are an attack on public health. I invite @nystateofhealth to visit the facilities of this place, and carry out a thorough inspection of the sanitary conditions of the place, the truth is that they are very precarious.@nystateofhealth
-The shoe area is another chaotic situation, which can easily cause an accident; Someone can stumble on shoes thrown on the floor, because it is constantly kept that way. If an unfortunate accident occurs, who will be sued at TJMAX? Will they be responsible for medical expenses, or for the consequences that this entails? And I'm not even mentioning how chaos and disorder reign in the children's department; where there are also toys lying on the floor everywhere.
-Jackets or coats are also thrown to the ground. They are always dusty or missing buttons and parts. Towels and sheets are not found quickly or efficiently in the home department, because everything is jumbled up in that area. The pillows are thrown on the floor, that is hygiene, care for customers?
-In the area of the bras you can see how they have been used when trying it on and they are dirty, uneven; It says on the label that there are three and there is a price for three and you only see one and it is dirty, used. and if you TJMAX fit the bras well and check them before exhibiting them to the public again. A little more respect with buyers, please.
Get ready for what's coming at the cash registers… be ready to wait in the long lines and while you're at it enjoy the mess of misplaced and organized products; while the line to pay advances; also enjoy listening to the shouts of the supervisors to the workers, and prepare yourself mentally to hear how they offer you the innumerable benefits of the TJMAX card and try by all means that you acquire it; Well, the cards in this store and in all of them in general are like expensive wines in fancy bottles: they look good at first glance, but once you open them, they are not worth it. Store cards entice you with initial offers that are actually lucrative. Your TJ Maxx card offers new cardholders a 10% discount on their first store or online purchase, plus you earn five rewards points for every dollar you spend. What can go wrong? Well, for starters, the TJ Maxx Card charges a 27% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) on new purchases. The national average is 19%. Make the best decision, I leave it to your discretion. The treatment towards employees is impolite; They do not treat employees with human quality. This can be seen in the cash register area; supervisors speak to employees under their charge in a dismissive manner; The workers there do not receive dignified or respectful treatment. They work out of necessity, but they deserve respect and consideration just like any other human being. Your employees provide you with a service gentlemen TJMAX Rego Park, without employees no company works. Employees are yelled at and humiliated by their bosses or superiors and only lower their heads, accept the mistreatment and do not raise their voices and demand respect. Do you have a human resources area at TJ MAX Rego Park? Are the workers so well paid to deserve such undignified and zero respectful treatment? Welcome to TJ MAX Rego Park, where you pay more than Burlington, and can only find the above; I wish the competent authorities of NY would do something about it to change the landscape on this site. Enjoy your shopping at TJMAX Rego Park. Merry...
Read moreTo start, this location is always a mess. The shelves and racks look like a tornado blew through and almost always there is garbage left behind from other patrons (empty Starbucks cups, etc). The staff seems very untrained as far as customer interaction goes, I’ve never had a decent experience especially with the cashiers. Today took the cake and I wish I got their name but unfortunately I did not. She visibly began to get frustrated because the paper bags kept ripping because of the way she was putting the items in and would slam the items on the counter when going to get a new bag, which granted it was just rolls of wrapping paper but still not nice to do in front of a customer with the things they’re purchasing. Next, my partner has an employee discount card given to them by their parent because TJ Maxx employees are allowed to give their immediate family members discount cards. We tried to use it and were immediately met with hostility and rudely questioned about who the employee is and where we got the card. After we explained we were told only the employee could use it and when we brought up the immediate family another employee came over and said yes spouses and children, so we explained that my partner is an employees child they said it has to be under 18 only. Never had an issue with this before at other locations so we just gave up and paid. I asked for a printed receipt and assumed it was put into the bag but getting home we realized they did not give us...
Read moreI’m a long time TJ Maxx customer and I recently moved into the Rego Park area so I was happy to stop by the TJ Maxx here on my day off. In the middle of checking out, the manager very rudely yelled at and reprimanded the young Muslim female employee helping me out. The manager screamed at the new employee when it had been her second day on the job in front of the whole store and she told the employee she had SO much to improve on. When I asked the manager what was the matter - she rudely looked at me and replied “This was not manager approved, that’s the matter.” The manager had a very bad attitude not only to the sweet new employee, but also to me. I will never go back to that TJ Maxx as a result of this poor treatment. I’ve worked as a client relations manager for years and her behavior was abusive and absolutely unacceptable. Not only was it just the employees second day, but regardless of an employee making mistakes, they should always be treated with respect. That new employee was kind and sweet, she was very helpful, smiling and provided good customer service. It made me so sad to see her trembling as a result of the managers behavior. TJ Maxx needs to improve their management...
