CAUTION: POORLY TRAINED STAFF AT ALL LEVELS : AVOID THIS PROPERTY- BETTER CHOICES THEN 150 CITYSCAPE!!!!!!!!
Beware of this property. Poorly trained staff outside this property, behind the front desk of this property, the resident manager of this property and the account executive responsible for 150 Cityscape including her assistants are all poorly trained staff and support. The bellman at 150 Cityscape lost control of his luggage cart allowing it to enter 56th street denting my 2025 vehicle. The bellman denied hitting my vehicle claiming his cart only hit my tire. This was not true. The dent was right above the tire. So I went into 150 Cityscape and the front desk guy says to me " what do you want me to do about it" when I spoke to him immediately after the incident occurred. He then supplied me with a bad contact name and a non working phone number. I then tracked down the property manager Douglas Elliman after the property's resident manager ignored my repeated voicemails. I received an estimate to repair my 2025 vehicle. The account executive, representing Douglas Elliman and 150 Cityscape, I sent my estimate to through her assistant offered me less than half my estimate. When I pressed her assistant another assistant agreed to pay my estimate but refused a rental vehicle during the repair. I live out of town and we need a vehicle on a daily basis where I live. Finally, I reported all this to my insurance company who used my email communications with Douglas Elliman and their foolish offers as proof of fault and paid my claim in full as a no fault claim with no deductible. Why why why would anyone want to deal with this level of incompetence where you will live and have to deal with this level of incompetence on a daily basis???? When all is routine maybe they do ok. When there is a problem their entire team is poorly trained to handle a simple situation in a professional manner. 1 star. In a competitive market such as Manhattan there must be...
Read moreHello! I’m Julie, your not-so-humble neighborhood critic.
Let’s start by praising the building—it’s not just well-kept; it’s practically a gem in the concrete jungle of New York City. Seriously, it’s like a refreshingly cool splash of water in a sea of chaos, conveniently located close to everything you could possibly need. Great amenities, fantastic management (at least when they’re not snoozing at the wheel), and the best-kept secret... until now.
But, oh boy, hold onto your hats; we’ve got a catchy little hiccup here! Enter Anton—the self-proclaimed Robin Hood of kickbacks. Yes, you heard it right! This guy is renowned for his mastery in the fine art of corruption. I find it somewhat amusing (and more than a bit concerning) that everyone is in on this little secret yet remains as silent as a tomb. Is it a fear of retribution or just a case of “I don’t want to deal with it”?
Could it be that we have too many absentee owners, a managing agent who’s as aware as a hibernating bear, or perhaps a board composed entirely of, well, folks who’ve confused “leadership” with “lead astray”?
Honestly, I’m just curious when someone will finally wake up and realize that they’ve let a charlatan run amok in their midst. I mean, taking kickbacks could land him a cozy 35 years behind bars—think of the opportunities for stress-free yoga and book club memberships he’d miss out on!
So, here's hoping for a change—come on, people! Open your eyes before there’s a reality show about...
Read moreOffice side of the (156) building has excellent and friendly staff. They are almost too charming. New elevators have taken some time to get used to but they run better now. ZO amenities are nice, I wish I took more advantage of them. Love when they do popups like free coffee in the lobby for workers. Never got to try the manicures but really wanted to. They were great prices. Best amenities get booked up fast. Maybe more of them can be offered during typical lunch break hours. That would be lovely! I also appreciate the lobby music and decor, especially over...
