I went in to get a sandwich, it was very good. Staff was very nice and helpful. It seemed that the owners are having some renovations done to the store. The reason for the 2 stars, is that I bought a salmon and it had gone bad. It looked good but when I opened it to cook it for dinner the smell was horrendous. It's still a good store, very friendly & helpful staff. I didn't return it because I live far and I'm not going to go back there for 10$. I threw it in the trash & learned a valuable lesson. Always smell the fish before you leave...

Avoid at all costs - poor quality food at high price. Bought ground turkey that was within the “sell by” range. Opened it at home and it was rancid. Dagastino won’t refund us because we didn’t bring the spoiled turkey back to their store. Just went in to pick up some chicken and veggies....didn't even buy the chicken breast because all they had was organic chicken breast priced at $19 and up. Seriously? $19 for chicken breast?? And then some of the veggies are way more expensive than even in Whole Foods. Next time I am running low on things, I'll walk the extra blocks to Gristedes or...
