J. Colby is a patient, professional, and skilled piercer and small business owner. I’ve had my septum and my daith pierced by him and now I won’t go to anyone else. I had a scheduling snafu where I mistakenly scheduled for a month ahead of the day I actually (impulsively) wanted to be pierced, and when I showed up to an empty studio and buzzed the door (I’m so dumb lol 😂), J. Colby texted me personally to clear up my mistake and squeezed me in much sooner than the next available appointment on his website. He didn’t have to accommodate me but he did. He could have been irritated that I was bothering him when he wasn’t scheduled to work, but he wasn’t. He was actually super funny and patient about it. He was a consummate professional during both my appointments. His studio is aesthetically beautiful and immaculately clean. He takes his time and walks you through what you’re gonna have done, and works with your anatomy so the piercing looks like it belongs on you. Both my piercings are healing so quickly and without complications that my friends with septum/daith piercings are jealous because they had more problems as their piercings healed while I’ve had none. J. Colby zero’s in on your individual texture, silhouette and sartorial style to deliver personalized methodology to not only the initial request, but the future aesthetic of the overall goal in the design. It goes without saying – there’s no need to go anywhere else.

I had 4 piercings done by JCS (I had an appt yesterday). My commute running around 4-5-hours and will still continue to book and recommend as long as he chooses to remain in his craft. Can't say enough wonderful things.

Adrian is so wonderful it could make me cry! Never have I met a gentler or kinder human. His skills with a needle are truly some black magic. I've literally slept on the ear he has pierced the same night. He shows a truly incredible amount of care for his clients that is beyond lovely. His attention to detail and pride in his work is exemplary. I travel 2 hours each way to see him and I would travel 22 hours if I needed to! Don't even bother with anyone else.
