It started off horrible, when I told them what I wanted they said they didn’t know what I was talking about. Then while he was trying to style my hair with a blow dryer he burned me to the point I had to tell him to turn down the heat. He was also using a brush to clean up his tool and table, then used the same brush on my hair. The worst is that he made a mistake on my sideburns and pushed it up way too high and continued to try and fix it by making the other side worse. I’ve tried many barbershops in Financial District, TriBeCa and Chinatown, and I felt none of them have been worth the price. Don’t be weary - although it’s not as pricy as many nearby salons and barbershops, it’s absolutely worth it, and then some.
