Do not go here for a blowout and trim if your hair is natural (mine is 4C). I did and about 2 inches long and one inch high of hair on the side of my head has completely broken off, so short that I can't even get box braids yet. I have to wait for the hair to grow. The hair immediately around it that hasn't broken off is limp and has lost its curl--a telltale sign of heat damage. This has never happened to me before and I've been natural for almost 4 years, only putting heat on my hair for the several times I've gotten a blowout and trim.

I can't speak for their other hairstyles. You may very well have cute braids, a perm, weave, etc, (their pictures are cute) but I would go elsewhere for a blowout and trim if you are natural. I'm disappointed in the breakage as I am growing my hair out, disappointed in how quickly my concern when I returned to the store to discuss what happened was brushed off, and I am now deeply considering shaving the side of my head (luckily, that...

I went for my appt or squeeze in as they called it and the place was open but the shop store was locked .....I called no answer before I left my home I called ( I live 5-7 mins away by cab- 15 if I walk they cause I walk slow) they told me to still come so I thought maybe it's was an emergency so I kept calling and waiting outside the store front for a half hr....plus the person I spoke to sounded like it was a problem just to speak to me but I shook it of cause I was desperate to get my hair done....I guess the phone call was a sign just to not waste my time I am glad I went to that area though cause I got a walk in done down that same block and there pleasant there and always there for their hours...

They made my braids extremely thin and when i asked for them to be made thicker or redone, the lady cut my hair (MY REAL HAIR!!) and was laughing and was extremely unprofessional! She then said she didn’t want to do my hair! Then when I realized to she cut my hair and confronted her she denied it and then apologized after i was starting to get upset and she saw it! This was on of Judy’s so called apprentices. This place has flies and is nasty! I will never recommend anyone to come here! RUN FAR AWAY AS FAST...
