Mandala Tibetan Store — Local services in New York

I have been to this store a few times over the years when I have traveled into NYC and have always been so happy with my items - including the woolen mitten-gloves that were my favorite for years until I lost them, and a leather-bound notebook with handmade paper that is my most cherished "special notebook." I was always extremely pleased with the fair prices, quality of items, and positive serene energy of the store.

Most recently I contacted the store via email after a singing bowl that I had received as a gift mysteriously stopped working. The shopkeepers were extremely gracious. They diagnosed what probably damaged the bowl, and instructed me on how to not cause damage to them. They also sent me a replacement free of charge (I paid for shipping the broken one to them, and to receive the new one), and offered me the best sounding bowl in the same size. I must say that the replacement sounds even better than the first one! I am so grateful for the fine and generous response of this shop and cherish my new bowl. They told me that they went against their store policy for my special circumstances. Thank you very much. I would definitely specifically seek out this store for my business...

a great selection of jewelry, singing bowls, clothing, crystals, anything u can imagine. from what i can tell the quality of everything else in the store is great however i can only speak for the rings as thats the only thing i purchased. the rings are either $18/$19 a piece, i dont remember exactly, but i bought 4 silver rings, two that had gemstones. after less than a week id say all of the "silver" rings began yellowing, leaving my fingers green and now are somewhat gold. along with the fading the gemstones have begun to pop out randomly. im sad to say considering the rings are beautiful, but i guess just dont come here and expect quality jewelry that stands the test of time, especially if you are an everyday jewelry wearer like me. though if you want other things i imagine this is...

Do not shop here. I purchased a black obsidian bracelet that broke within a week—beads scattered across the street. When I returned to ask for an exchange or refund, the store refused and only offered to sell me a new one at half price. That’s unacceptable. They sold me a faulty product and then expected me to pay again. Poor quality and poor customer service....
