I had the pleasure of completing the sound mixing for my upcoming bio-documentary "FINK," which chronicles the personality of the late prolific photographer Larry Fink, at MCM Creative in midtown Manhattan late last year. The experience was exceptional.

Be wary of the “Synthesia” gig. They will not let you do it more than once. I signed up for it a few months after doing it once already, not realizing it was the same thing, only to be turned away without compensation after the two of them kept going to the back to talk about “tech issues” instead of just being up front about the fact that that was the issue they were looking into. There is nothing in the contract or the information emails that mention not being able to do it twice, nor will they at least catch it upon signup if you mistakenly sign up twice instead of after you’ve booked out your day and traveled to set already, as was the...
