New York County Family Court — Local services in New York

This is CORRUPT CORRUPT we all need to stand together and hire a lawyer to fight against this corruption. I have contacted the Attorney Generals Office and they are taking arrears for 2010 and I had a credit in 2010, I got this letter in 2016. This place was filed against by the attorney generals office and they do nothing. My employer sent them there payment and apparently they did not credit my account and the will not credit the payment. Who did they give it to? Where are my rights? I am supposed to pay for a lawyer because your court and child support can't work together to make things right? What the heck is that! I have a court order for a reason and every year I have to contact the Attorney General to get them to stop this "other" amount that they claim that I owe. Where are the judges when we are fusing to get our order straight on a daily basis. I HAVE HAD IT. This is so corrupt and we all must stand together to stop this, should be a lawsuit against the CORRUPT child support agency and the judges that don't stop this. I have always paid my child support and was told I need to come to New York if i want to see my child. Funny thing she hasn't nor will work a day in her life bouncing from house to house using my name on her utilities. Again more drama I have to fight to keep my credit clean because this free loader doesn't want to get a job and smoke meth all day. I asked the court to drug test her because she is an addict and they won't. I can't even see a child that I am paying for and is not even my biological blood which have asked for a DNA test and they won't and haven't let me complete that either. Can I get some justice here? When is this going to end. When my other son turned 21 years old the court wouldn't take him off I had to again contact the Attorney Generals Office and they said they would only do this one time. Why does the law state that the child is emancipated at 21 years old and I have to fight to stop it. Did they credit the 3 months I paid extra, heck no they gave it to the free loader. He dropped out of school at 17 and worked a full time job but the court would not hear that either. My oldest son was living down here with us and I was still paying for him as well. The court demands I pay this child support then do your part and make it legit. I want a free lawyer from your office to pay for my services since I have to continue to fight with your system since it is so corrupt. I want a DNA testy, I want to know if the child is even mine since she was having several marital affairs when we were together and living apart. Does the court care about any of these cases, heck no they don't. I would advise all to file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office because it will not be fixed until enough people stand up and make a complaint. Can someone tell me where my money I have been paying went to? The court can't, the Attorney General Office can't, so...

The worst family court ever, it deserves -0 stars. I’ve been in trial for custody of my children for 5 years, my kids even had their own lawyer which didn’t make sense because they were so little at that time, they were very tired and scared of all this thanks to their father. Their father “including his family” has been controlling all of our lives since our children were born, he made false claims stating I was an unfit mother and got away with it, he even called the cops on me for taking my children on vacation which he already was aware we were going, he stated I kidnapped them! The police almost arrested me at JFK and thank goodness I brought the court order stating I had primary custody in the first place, I even showed them proof that their father was aware. This court system is horrible. I’ve showed proof several times about my children’s father being very possessive and controlling including his family as well and keep in mind people , I had custody in the first place and he still would control our children ! This court allowed this to happen . He made me believe he was going through a financial hardship so he had to stop paying child support “which he barley paid!”, I would also send him money when he claimed it was for the kids “birthdays etc” but yet he has a business. I’ve worked many hours for my children and even went to school to make a better life. Several times I asked the court to send me and my children to family therapy , NOTHING HAPPENED, I’ve sent so many emails about my children’s father behavior towards me, NOTHING HAPPENED… Judge Shim would also in court say my name wrong , then he would laugh and apologize for it and yet he still continued to say it wrong !!!! I spoke to him from heart to heart stating all those claims my ex husband said was not true …. Mind you there was no proof, This man got away with everything. Now my children’s father has custody thanks to this court, they brushed me off like my voice didn’t matter. It’s been 4 days , my oldest daughter has not spoke with me at all for no reason !! Of course the mother is always the villain right ? My youngest has been sad and hurt and it breaks my heart, now thanks to family court my children will also leave their little sibling behind. This case was so messy, I wouldn’t be reached properly regarding any upcoming appointments, I wasn’t even notified that my ex was granted custody…. I had to hear it from the devil himself! This place needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY. Child abuse is a criminal offense and needs to be handled in CRIMINAL COURT!!! This place literally serves no purpose other than to facilitate the trafficking of innocent children.

This is the absolute last place on earth any self-respecting adult should be seen.

Do you know why child abuse isn’t handled in criminal court? because you need evidence, at least a smidgen of proof. You can’t just make a case out of thin air, refuse to use logic, and enlist the help of every poor performing, law school underachiever in the city to build a case against children. The abusive parent is the ALLY to this system... and every lawyer, judge, advocate in this building will aide them in terrorizing you as a caregiver.

If anyone ever calls you and says “Acs is about to take my child” but refuses to sign over guardianship, RUN!!! You may think you’re helping but you will Quickly realize that once a child is remanded to the ACS commissioner there is NOTHING you can do to protect them. If the biological parent doesn’t willingly sign over guardianship, that means they intend to cause you harm and will make your life a living HELL with the help of every corrupt person in this building. It’s a psychotic...
