Newman Library - Baruch College — Local services in New York

The library is great. Good people. Kudos to the security personnel who went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out. But... Two things: The elevator is out of service. Some people actually do not have the option to take stairs. Not being warned about this, when I phoned to ask about the library's hours, caused a big problem. On the phone I was told the library closed at 11 pm. That is true, but I was not told that the circulation desk closes at 9 pm. Again, the lack of information caused great...

It is an excellent library with access and can be borrowed many tools in an emergency, and the library staff is friendly. But the security guard is always so stupidly mean 🤷🏻‍♂️ I noticed they don’t allow food and drinks inside, but I still wanted to ask if they allow coffee; that woman told me there are one or two three signs that say no foods and beverages. Perhaps I’m being accepted by this school, which means I can read and count. I don’t know who was the stupid person in that case...

It is a nice place to study and research; sometimes anyone can take a nap if you get tired. Stuffs of this library are very helpful and passionate. It has so many resources to use such as computer lab, printing machine and books check out. I wish, if it can be opened up for 24 hours for everyday although they keep open 24 hours in midterm...
